July 5th my young cousin Journey passed away at the age of 10 after years of battling cancer. It really hit me hard and was so very difficult to deal with. She was sweet, loving, playful, fun, always ready and excited to learn.....and there are so many things that I could say about her. I wish I had gotten the chance to know her better as well as her having gotten more of a chance to live a full life.
This recording is a bit on the lower quality side of things but me and a friend performed it at my cousin Journeys' funeral. I messed up lots but was trying with everything I had not to break down.
This song will always mean something completely different to me given that.
