We were in the car for what seemed like hours, I lost count after one. But Perry didn't talk to me, I guess she new that I needed  space or something I don't know but as we drove I asked myself why did she come all the way to my orphanage? Weren't there any other orphanages closer to hers? Or was she looking for somebody in particular? All these thoughts gave me a headache so I decided to just leave it and maybe ask her at some point if I ever have the courage to talk to her with me being shy and all. 

Soon we came to a huge gate which swung open as Perry drove closer to it. What I saw as we drove down the long driveway made me nearly faint, I saw the biggest mansion I have ever seen, I mean it was huge and it confirmed my theory about Perry being rich.

"Told you, you would be in for a treat" I heard Perry say.

But I didn't answer I was too hypnotised and awe struck by the mansion in front of me. Then before I knew it the car stopped just by the front steps, I unbuckled myself and got out the car, stretching my back as I stood out in the fresh air, my back clicked and I let out a sigh of satisfaction. I looked over to see Perry getting my bag out of the boot of the Jag.

"You can go on in if you like we are expected" Perry said as she closed the boot of the Jag.

I turned and walked up the steps to the massive double doors but before I could reach for the door handle the doors slowly opened, I gasped and fell back onto my bum as a Golden Retriever dressed in a butlers uniform stepped out with a fluffy golden tail swishing back and forth through his coattails.

"Good afternoon Master Jake and welcome to Ainsworth Manor" the Retriever said in a posh British accent as he offered a white gloved hand to me, I was shy at first but I took the offer and grabbed his hand and he helped me up and I noticed I reached up to his elbow in height, he then brushed my back of any dust, I blushed when he did that but then I realized he said my name 'how does he know my name?' I thought.

"Oh Jock there you are, are you antagonising the newest member of our family?" I heard Perry say as she stood beside me and ruffled my hair.

"Of course not ma'am" Jock said with a warm smile "I think the Master here just got a shock when I opened the door."

I blushed at that and looked at the floor, my cheeks turning a faint pink while I heard Jock say "shall I take the Master's bag for you ma'am?"

"Oh thank you Jock" Perry said as she handed Jock my bag then Perry looked down at me said "Jock here will show you to your room, I need to go now but if you ever need help just ask Jock or myself" she then knelt down and gave me a gentle nuzzle then a kiss on my forehead.

I blushed so much that I could feel my cheeks getting hot. Then Perry entered the mansion leaving me and Jock standing on the doorstep, I just watched Perry with my still rosy cheeks as she disappeared from view. I soon heard Jock clear his throat and I looked up at him.

"If you don't mind Master Jake we're causing a terrible draft" Jock said calmly, I gasped at the realisation and quickly entered the mansion.

I came into a room with a massive grand staircase with a set of double doors at the top, there were two doors on either side of the wall on the ground floor, the walls were made of mahogany and on each wall there, hanging were shields, swords, battle axes spears etc of all ages and in each corner there stood a suit of armour each holding a spear in their hand, the floor had white and black tiles like the ones you would find in a kitchen but bigger.

"Yes, Lord Ainsworth is quite the collector" I heard Jock say then he continued "you see the crystal chandelier?" I looked up to see a massive crystal chandelier that twinkled in the sunlight that was coming out of a tall window above the front door. "That Master Jake are all real diamonds" my eye's widened when he said that 'Jesus that must be expensive' I thought to myself. Then I saw Jock motioning me to follow which I did and we both made our way up the grand staircase to the first floor.

Jock opened the door at the top of the staircase and I was welcomed to the site of a long hallway with more suits of armour, I looked left and right and saw two more hallways, 'damn this place is big' I thought to myself as I followed Jock as he went down the hallway I first saw, on the floor was a red carpet with diamond shaped patterns on it.

We walked down the hallway passing several doors and suits of armour until we came to a door on the left "You, Master Jake will be staying in this room" Jock said as he opened up the door to my new bedroom.

I looked around and saw on the left side of the room a single bed with a bedside table with a lamp on the top, a white closet stood next to the bed, I saw a large window with the view of the trees and fields outside. The wallpaper was a velvet green with the faint pattern of leaves and I saw a white door on the right side of the room which I assumed was the bathroom and next to the door was a set of draws where I could put my clothes in and the floor had a dark green carpet covering the whole floor. Jock went to the bed and placed my bag on the white duvet before turning back to me.

"Would you like me to unpack your bag?" he asked and I just shook my head, Jock just bowed his head and said "as you wish", Jock walked to the door before turning around and saying "dinner will be served at 8:00 and Mary the maid will be coming with your towels if you feel the need to wash" with that he closed the door leaving me standing in the middle of the room.

I let out a sigh and sat down on my bed kicking off my red sneakers which feel to the floor with a soft thud. I looked around the room seeing its beauty again and saw that the ceiling was white with another chandelier but it was smaller, much smaller than the one in the front room I believe that's what they call that room I entered or was it the staircase room? I don't know. I put my head in my hands covering my face as I let this all sink in, I'm in a mansion, an actual freaking mansion, with a butler and maid, I have yet to meet the maid and my new father is a Lord? This was all too much and I felt my heart racing, I got up and went to the white door which lead me to the bathroom.

The bathroom was quite big with a large bathtub and a shower next to it. I saw the toilet which was sitting in the corner of the room with a sink next to it. I paced over to the sink and turned the cold water tap, as the cool water came out I cupped my hands and filled them up with water before splashing my face with water. I wiped the water off with my hands and turned off the tap feeling somewhat refreshed and less agitated, when I turned around, Roger was right in my face with his goofy smile.

"HI!" he exclaimed with hype. I screamed in shock and fell on my ass, Roger just chuckled and landed on the marble floor next to me. "Oh I'm sorry did I scare you?" he said in a teasing tone.

I gave the cartoon Robin a dirty look before saying "you think?"

"Yeah" he said with an innocent look on his face.

I just sighed as I got up off the floor rubbing my bum then I heard a knock on the bathroom door before hearing a female voice saying "hello? I heard you scream when I came in are you ok?" now came the hardest thing, I had to say something.

"Y...y...yes I'm fine I...I... just slipped" I said in a small voice but loud enough for her to hear.

"Oh dear, is it ok if I came in?" the voice asked.

"I...I...I guess" I said.

The door slowly opened and a Artic Fox entered wearing a maids uniform, she held under her right arm a couple of white towels she looked like she was a head taller than me. I heard Roger whistle behind me and say "damn she's beautiful" I looked behind me and gave him another dirty look while whispering "shut it."

"Em who are you whispering to?" I heard the Fox ask. 

I quickly turned my head around and said quite quickly "nobody!"

She just giggled and said "your cute."

I just blushed and looked at my feet. There was an awkward silence for a moment until I broke it by asking "your Mary right?"

The Fox nodded "that's right" she said with a warm smile "I'm here to give you your towels" she then handed me the towels which I took and saw the towel rack which was by the shower and I hung them up. 

After I hung up the towel I turned back to Mary who had her hands behind her back, "thank you" I said and she nodded back.

"Not a problem" Mary said as she began to leave the room.

"Wait!" I said and Mary turned back around to face me "is it just you and Jock or is there anyone else I should know about?" I asked I don't know why I asked it just popped out.

"Well there's Alfie he's the chauffeur, lovely man, the kids love him, whenever he's not on duty he sometimes plays with them. Of course the Lord and his wife don't mind, far from it they support him for it. Lord Ainsworth treats us all like family, and lastly is our French Chef Samuel he's the best cook in the world, well that's what he says, he's a nice guy as well just don't interfere him when he's cooking, he gets a bit grumpy."

I raised my eyebrows in curiosity 'so that means I have a brother or a sister now' "sounds like fun."

Mary chuckled "well the one thing you should know about this family is that we are always having fun and we always watch out for each other" then her look turned to sympathy as she put a hand on my shoulder her light brown eyes looking into mine and said softly "we've all heard what happened to you a month ago and I just want to be the first to say that you won't feel alone anymore we'll make sure of it."

My eyes began to water and without warning I hugged her, I felt her tense at first but then I felt her furry arms around me and she rubbed my back "shhh it's ok" she whispered as she nuzzled my cheek, her fur felt soft as it touched my skin. We stayed like that for a minute I pulled back wiping my nose and smiled, Mary smiled back then she looked at her watch and said in an excited voice "look at the time your farther will be here any minute now want to come meet him?" I didn't know what to say, I looked behind me to Roger who held up a notepad that said 'YES!' before he vanished, I looked back at Mary and nodded. "Cool lets go" she said as she offered me her hand which I took.

When we were at the top of the grand staircase I saw an enormous male Orca who wore a grey business suit with a blue tie that had gold stripes on it, he had a long dorsal fin on his back that was shaped like a swords blade and the difference between him and his wife is that under his neck there was a black streak going across his chest, also he was much more muscly than his wife he probably went down to the gym often and the gym is probably here in this mansion. I saw Jock with a overcoat draped over his right arm which must have been the Orca's.

"Welcome back my Lord how was work?" Jock asked in his posh voice.

The Orca waved him off as he straitened his suit jacket while saying "ah you know how it its being the CEO of a business" then Jock and the Orca said together in sync "Boring. Repetitive and Brain killing" they both chuckled and Mary cleared her throat to get their attention. They both looked up to see us making our way down the stairs.

"My Lord you have someone here to see you" Mary said as we got to the bottom of the stairs where she let go of my hand and ushered me forward towards the now skyscraper of an Orca.

"But of course!" the Orca said with excitement as he knelt down to me "and who might you be?" I was shocked when he asked me that, I thought they all knew me.

"I-" I was about to say my name but was cut off when I was brought into his chest in a big beefy hug.

"I know who you are silly" he said as he nuzzled the top of my head, his hug was getting tighter and I found it hard to breath, I looked down and saw that he was standing up and my feet weren't touching the ground for obvious reasons mainly I was six and small I height but hopefully that will change as I get older.

"My Lord I think you should put the kid down he's turning blue" I heard Jock say. The Orca gasped in the realisation and loosened his hug before setting back on the floor and rustled my hair, his tail swinging behind him excitedly.

"Sorry about that old boy its just I'm so happy to see you" he said happily.

"It's fine" I wheezed out as the air came back to my lungs. 

The Orca gave me a pat on the back before standing up and putting a hand to his chest "anyway allow me to introduce myself" he started "I'm Lord Harrison Ainsworth. But you can call me Harry or dad when you feel comfortable enough to say it... the dad part that is."

I smiled a little at that part "It's an honour to meet you Harry" I said politely.

Harry chuckled at my answer "why thank you for the compliment, you know a compliment goes a long way."

I just nodded then Harry turned to Jock before asking "where's Perry gone?" Jock just shrugged and Harry then asked "has Jake here been given a tour?"

"Only to his room" Jock answered.

"Well then" Harry started as he smiled down at me showing off his sharp white teeth "I'll take Jake here around the mansion you two can attended to your duties" Jock and Mary both bowed their heads and went their separate ways. Harry then walked up to a door and opened it, he looked back at me and said "well come on" I hastily followed him and the tour began.

after an hour of seeing the mansion and all of it's room from the library to Harry's study, from the dining room to a massive ball room, from the living room which had a massive fire place to the entertainment room where they had a massive cinema like TV screen, oh and the gym. We soon came to the garden and it was massive, it stretched so far that it looked like it would never end. As we were outside I heard screams of joy and the sound of splashes.

"Sounds like your brothers are in the pool, sadly your sister is away for a sleepover with her friends so you won't meet her until tomorrow or the day after" Harry explained and I just nodded "want to meet your brothers?"

"Sure" I said with a little bit of excitement as well as my shyness kicking in again at the thought of meeting my new brothers.

We soon made it to the pool which, just like everything was massive, I saw my new brothers swimming around in their colourful swimming trunks, having fun which made me smile, one was larger than the other and the smaller one had a streak of white on his back just bellow his black blade shaped dorsal fin. The larger one looked like Perry with its black and white skin only difference was his dorsal fin which was blade shaped they both also looked muscly, the larger one more though.

Harry pushed me behind him and I looked up in confusion but he turned his head to look at me and smiled down at me with a mischievous grin and winked, knowing what he was going to do I just nodded and stayed behind him. Harry then turned his head back and shouted "Hey Cody and Ryan!" I heard the splashing stop for a second before I heard both brothers shout in unison with excitement "DAD!" I then heard them swim to the edge of the pool before they climbed out of the pool and the sound of wet feet came running toward us.

I heard Harry chuckle, his tail swinging left and right near me as he said "now don't go rugby tackling me I'm in my best suit plus I have someone I want you to meet" Harry then side stepped and I looked up at my two new brothers who looked down at me dripping with water from the pool. The youngest brother was a head taller then me, the other brother I reached up to his elbow in height roughly, I gave a small wave, both brothers looked at me with curiosity and confusion before looking at their dad who then explained "boys this is your new brother Jake remember?" both brothers looked at me in realisation and the youngest one gasped with joy before rushing over to me and hugged me, drenching my t-shirt and jeans.

"Oh thank goodness your here I've never had a Human brother" he took me by surprise but then a smile formed on my face and I hugged him back.

"Alright Cody don't crush my new brother" the older Orca said as he crossed his beefy arms as Cody let me go and shot back "our brother" Ryan just rolled his eyes and held out his hand for me to shake which I did.

"Hi. The names Ryan that hyper guy is Cody" Ryan introduced as he thumbed to his brother.

"Nice to meet you I would say my name but Harry did that for me" I said as I finished shaking Ryan's hand who chuckled at my comment.

Harry then rubbed his hands together as he said "right now, seeing you guys have been introduced now lets have some dinner it's nearly time."

Ryan and Cody cheered with excitement and ran off to the nearest door into the mansion, grabbing their towels on the way. Harry just laughed as we watched them race off into the mansion.

"Oh those two just love Samuels food speaking of food feeling hungry?" Harry asked and I nodded hearing my stomach growl "I can hear" Harry said chuckling to himself as he ushered me back into the mansion while saying "but first better go get changed, don't want to have dinner looking like someone chucked a bucket of water at you" I gasped as I realised my damp clothes and ran into the mansion.

After ten minutes I was standing in front of the mirror in my bathroom in my dry clothes which consisted of a red polo shirt and blue jeans and my grey socks I didn't know whether I should wear my only pair of shoes. I took a deep breath calming myself before exiting my room and down the hallway toward the dining which was on the ground floor. 

My first dinner with my new family.
