I wanted a picture of my character in Orion's world, dressed how a warrior of Varanis' stature would appear in that world, and symbolhero liked the idea enough to give me a second commission in his list. We worked together to mix and match styles of dress for warriors in that mystical land, and here's Varanis, claiming his own little piece of territory in some ancient ruin that he'll soon renovate into a mighty remote outpost for his adventures on that plane. This is completely excellent, and I not only love the background, but the pose and dress here. It's a lot more regal than Varanis is used to, that's for sure. Also, that pendant around his neck is used to call upon a certain golden dragon God in times of great need to whisk him away back home when things get tough! Eldrikke may or may not have had anything to do with with inspiring this wardrobe decision. I'm not telling.
