I'm standing in front of commander and lieutenant Feral, wearing an Enforcer uniform and body armor as I stand in attention and with many other Enforcer's in the room.






The commander gives me a salute "Congratulations Adam, I hereby welcome you into the ranks of the Enforcer's." his niece giving a salute as well along with the rest of the room.






I give a salute back at him "It is an honor sir."






My inauguration soon concludes and Felina decides to take me on patrol, we head over to the hanger with me getting my assault rifle, which is an akm and what I bought with my sign-up bonus, I did however have the weapon modified to an extent as it has a holographic sight. I quickly double check my luger, ammunition and body armor and we head via one of the helicopters.






The sight of Megakat City from an ariel view is quite a breath taking one, the combination of deco, 90's and sci-fi appearance is even more captivating then seeing it among the twisting highways. Looking around I don't see anything out of the ordinary for the city itself, just a busy city like how one from earth would function, I have had to get use to it given I am not use to such a setting.






Felina glances to me with a smirk "The first human turned Enforcer." earning my full attention as she goes back to focusing on flying "It has a nice ring to it."






I give a warm look of my own as I nod "I just appreciate being given the opportunity."






"Hopefully this patrol will be smooth sailing." an explosion happens in the distance, the shecat gives a sigh "Or not."






Felina radios the incident and informs hq we are moving to investigate as I charge the akm before starting up the co-pilot controls for the miniguns. We soon arrive at the scene and it's a bank robbery, a rocket comes our way but Felina ensure we dodge as she has the helicopter also launch flares, she nods to me and I fire a burst from the miniguns just in front of the bank.






Some heavily armed and armored personnel, one armed with a missile launcher that appears to be magazine fed, one with a shotgun while the rest are armed with assault rifles, their suits are mostly dark grey with some kind of red emblem that looks like... if I had to guess some kind of jet.






Felina speaks onto the mic "This is lieutenant Feral of the Enforcer's, stand down and surrender at once or..."






Before she can finish they start shooting at us, I return fire as best I can, the problem is that since the guns are basically fixed with no real depression and Feral has to keep dodging... we aren't going to last long.






I undo my harness "Screw this!" I grab the akm as I get up "We need reinforcements, I'll keep them busy until you get back!" quickly making my way to one of the side doors.






Felina nods to me "Good luck! I'll back you up when I can!"






I open the door and leap out, as soon as I land the shooting stops, I slowly stand and see the robbers seem to be examining me, though I can tell because of their gas masks, as the heli flies away I give a grin "We can either do this easy way, or the hard way... and I'm a good shot!"






The lead looks to the others "Kill him!"






I dive behind a nearby car as I take in the kats voice... a woman's voice? It was muffled but still... I push the thought away, it's them or me and I don't plan on dying any time soon, I get into a firing position and return fire, I catch one and put them down and I think wounding another two but they get behind cover and the core parts of their body armor can handle the rounds pretty well. The magazine runs out so I quickly reload, I look over and see that missile launcher...






I haul it as it fires, thankfully I get enough away to avoid even the blast and find new cover, I pull out my luger and fire a pair of quick shots, not ment to wound but try to get them down at least, I quickly holster my sidearm as I go to the other side of a truck, I find the launcher and open fire, the bullets hit the launcher.. and the weapon explodes.






I get behind cover as more bullets come my way "Blast! These kats are tough!", I radio "This is Adam, I need back up, my weapons aren't doing much of anything!"






Some sparks come near my feet so I get behind the truck where it's tire is, I quickly aim again and see they are advancing across the road, I return fire, I notice they are having their shoulder armor absorb most of the damage, so I guess that and the torse are most dense, but I can't beat the armor... but that doesn't mean I can't wound them. I quickly switch to semi-auto and after some careful aim I fire, the 7.62x39mm round strikes home, hitting one of the niche areas that have no armor, the right shoulder joint.






I hear a cry come from the kat as I just keep firing round after round, I notice the one with the shotgun is missing, I this cha-chick, I quickly jump backwards, I see to my right and see the Kat fire where I was, I quickly open fire on the kat which brings them down though I don't think I landed a wounding shot. I quickly get up and find another car... all I can do is this, just take pot shots or fire a few well-aimed ones.






"Adam, reinforcements are on their way and I'm making my way to your position!", I work my comm and respond "Affirmative, be advised, their body armor is too tough to shoot through, aim for the joints!", I duck behind the car as they all open fire on me with assault rifles, I look and see they are also shooting on either side of the car 'Maybe.... this wasn't good idea after all....'






I hear what sounds like a helicopter as the weapons fire dies down... I look over and see a twin-rotar touch down as they gather their wounded and board with some big bags full of money with one of the bags dropping a gold bar, though what I think is the commander quickly picks it up. The ramp closes and the twin-rotar flies away, I slowly get up as Felina arrives along with reinforcements, I look around and see the one that had the launcher was left behind, I slowly approach the body, the right arm is gone and most of the torso is scorched, I look behind me and call for a medic.






A medical team moves to the robber as I give my statement, I find a chunk of the shoulder armor from the launcher kat, I pick it up and it is so dense that as I tap it it feels like I am hitting a rock, this can't be cheap at all, looking over the damage done by the explosive force.






Felina comes over "Have you found anything?"






I look to her as I hand over the chunk of armor "Any idea what kind of body armor this is? It handled shots from my assault rifle with no issue."






She takes it and looks it over "Hmm, I'll have to give over to the tech division.", she looks to the downed kat "Looks like Turmoil is up to something."






I raise an eyebrow "Turmoil?"






"That symbol is hers, she's an ex-military leader of the Eastern Block...but she's still in custody as far as I'm aware."






A distant explosion happens, I slowly look to Felina "I am gonna guess the prison she is in... is in that direction?" earning a nod from her.






We reach the location which is Alkatraz, a max security prison and the damage done to the place is catastrophic, evidence of explosive weapons, aerial attacks and disposable navel landing craft are spotted with their ramps clamped onto the beach. Tons of expending shell casings and discarded weapons with plenty of down Enforcer's, dead and wounded, the islands defenses are offline and most of the positions are destroyed. The amount of damage is extraordinary given it all happened is such a short span of time... I am not only amazed, I'm actually admiring for how effective Turmoil's forces seem to be, clear military training and tactics.






The day goes about with us securing the prison and Turmoil is the only one missing with fatalities on some prisoners that got caught in the crossfire, after a pretty long first day I make my way home to Callie's place, she isn't home yet so I decide to make some dinner for the both of us.






My mind is going towards the whole day as the firefight and the assault on the prison standing front and center in my mind, it does make me wonder what she is really capable of, what kind of forces she leads. I did look into her files and there really isn't much to go on but there are a few details that stick out, that her forces are an all female force and they have a lot of battlefield and operation experience. I get dinner finished and I hear the phone ring, I pick it and it is Felina, she informs me that the body armor doesn't match any known manufacturer and is a custom-pattern. We go back and forth as we go over what counter-measures we can do and it basically boils down to explosives and high caliber weapons... as in anti-material.






I think for a few moments "Hmm, I'll put in a requisition for armor-piercing ammunition, that might work."






"Already taken care of, just try to get some rest." with an amused tone.






We say our see you laters and hang up, I finish setting dinner and Callie enters which earns a warm grin from me "Welcome home Callie, how was your day?"






The shecat gives a tired sigh "Overwhelming..", she puts on a confident grin "...but nothing I can't handle.", she comes over, she gives me a half hug "I heard you had a full first day."






I give a nod "It was crazy." I take a breath in "But, I knew what I was signing up for."






Callie and I sit and enjoy our dinner before finding a show to watch, about haflway through the movie there is an emergency news report, they describe that a massive amount of materials was found to have been stolen from military and Enforcer warehouses, they don't give a complete list but the details paint quite a picture... especially since they also show similarly equipped commandos that I fought earlier as crews quickly get the equipment out.






I think back to while at the island prison I looked through what information I could on Turmoil and what she looks like, her attire is an opposing red cloak over a vibrant mauve uniform, black knee high boots, a gold frill on either shoulder and a black officer hat with some kind of emblem on it, her fur is orange and her hair is blonde with red lip stick and purple eye shadow for good measure.






I give a light sigh as I have a very bad feeling about this, Callie pulls me into a side hug as she takes my hand, I look to as she gives me warm grin.






"I share your concern, she'll attack sooner or later and when she does you and the other Enforcers and the Swat Kats will do what you must."






I perk up a little as I give a nod and mirror her grin... but I'm still beyond concerned.

Turmoil is moving through a cave, having just adorned her uniform and applied her make up, she enters a large casim and smirks as she can see her engineers and crews putting her new flagship together, a recreation of the Sky-Lion with it mostly complete.






A figure comes from the shadows "Breaking you out wasn't easy..." earning Turmoil's full attention "... your crew has shown how loyal they are." the figure is that of a purple kat, his clothing being that of what looks to be a red and black cloak with hefty trench coat with a chain and plate on his left shoulder and his eyes a translucent gold.






Turmoil gives a cackle "No price is to high Dark Kat, with our forces combined we can bring this city and the Swat Kats down."






The purple feline moves to where he is standing next to her "Hard Drive is recovering the Metallikats as we speak, it's going to take all of our talents to achieve our objective.", he glances to Turmoil "The longer you hold them at bay, the more likely we can get a foothold in place and spring our attack, but ideally we need the sky free of the Swat Kats."






The shekat folds her arms "With the improved vertigo cannon, defenses and craft we should be more then a match for any air power, even those two pests.", she turns her attention to Dark Kat "I also have heard and seen we have a new x-factor... that human. He gave my girls quite a hassle." giving an amused tone.






"He'll die of he gets in the way! How hard can he be to kill?"






Turmoil sighs as he walks away, she looks to her new carrier being built, she saw the news report when he first appeared, how he took charge and stormed the Metallikats... there's something underneath that pale and frail skin, she can place a claw on it... but there's something powerful about him.






Turmoil heads over to a terminal and brings up the footage, she zooms in on his face, seeing the fire in those blue eyes as his blonde hair is dirty from debris like his skin, from what she has heard and what she is seeing, he has no claws, his teeth are not as sharp as a felines and it's obvious he lacks fur... her gaze locks with that of the stilled image...






'Dark Kat, I don't know what to make of him either... but never discount your prey! There is something behind his demeanor.' she glides a finger along the humans image 'But I want a personal taste of what he can do.' her straight face gaining a slight smirk as she hopes they can exchange blows of some kind.

Jake and Chance are in their lair underneath their junkyard, in front of them is a weapon they are working on, it's a bomb-sized explosive, the red exterior missing some panels.






Jake wipes some sweat from his brow "With the bad guys making some pretty tough defenses, we are sure to leave an impact with this new bunker buster." she gives a shrug "We still don't know what to call it though."






The more hefty kat puts in some more explosives "I still say we call it the litter buster."






"Eh, doesn't have much of a ring to it though.", he moves a panel over "After all the wonder weapons recently, having this will hopefully make up the difference we need."






Chance nods to his buddy, after such crazy things as the mechanical Black Widow and giant statues rampaging around, a big bomb would certainly help in doing the trick, the issue though is that the turbokat can either have the cycle or the bomb given the sheer weight.






What is also on their mind is that human, seeing the camera footage of him fending off Turmoil's forces was pretty interesting, seeing as all he wanted to do was hold them off and knew they can also see he was analyzing their weapons and armor. They were wondering how well he work as a trusted ally in the same way Callie is, how she has a communicator tied to them, the problem though is that he is an Enforcer and it would be very suspicious... it's all a wait and see, but when Callie speaks of him, she has nothing but good things to say really.

I'm quietly humming as I am laying in the dark, I've been trying to go to sleep for the past half hour but with no luck, my mind is focused on this whole scheme that is unfolding when it come to Turmoil and her forces...






I give a silent sigh 'Come on Adam, no since in worrying about it now!' annoyed at myself.






I eventually give up and try to occupy my mind with something else, I start to think of how I must look to the felines of this world, I can see that many are warmed up to me, some indifferent and others are still suspicious... my thoughts eventually go to me asking myself a question... what if I want to try to find someone here... to try to find a girlfriend?






To be fair I have met some pretty good women in the short time I have been here, Callie, Felina, Ann and Abby have a good head on their shoulders, though the two I have really spent time with are the former two... and dating Felina would probably the worst mistake I could make... Callie seems she would make a great option, Ann I don't know but I can tell she is more invested in her reporter career and Abby is also another solid choice but I still don't really know her either.






My eyes slowly move around the darkness as I begin to look at this whole thought... given the population still doesn't really know what to think of me I think such a concept might just simply be barred...






I have a sad sigh as I lay on my side "I don't even know if it's a possibility."

Callie is just around the corner as she wanted to check on her human roommate, she sees how sad he looks as he looks deep in thought and while he carried a hushed tone, she did hear what he said and the pain in them. She thinks for a few minutes if she should go out there and ask what is wrong or not but he soon falls asleep, she decides to lay back down, she begins to wonder about what could be bothering him though she can't think of much of anything as he has a pretty stable start, a good number of friends with a good number of kats...






That's when it hits her, she has a light sigh 'That's it! He's the only human...' her cheeks blush 'Could he be looking for a girlfriend?' her eyes slowly go to her bedroom door 'I wonder who he might go with?'






The shekat begins to kick in her imagination, he doesn't really know to many women, she can count and name all of them on one hand including herself... she decides to simply bury the thought for now, deciding that it's best if she doesn't crowd him and let him go at his own pace and let him come to her if he has any concerns or questions as he has done the whole time.






Her mind also goes back that metal container that appeared on her desk when he helped her sort paperwork, it was some documentation pertaining to the human, the Enforcer's basically asking of he can be trusted and shouldn't be marked a target, granted it was a while ago but it still brought her blood to a boil, he had done nothing but help and yet some still thought he was a threat. She remembers confronting commander Feral about it and he more or less tried to blow it off but she gave him a piece of her mind.






She gives a sigh 'It's always something.' a loud explosion booms which causes her to jump. she scoffs 'Really?'

I leap out of bed and look out a nearby window to see fire at what looks like an Enforcer armory, I quickly pick up the telephone and call Feral "Feral, we've got a situation!"






Callie come running out as I inform Feral, he's sending an Enforcer unit to counter it, he tells me that they can handle it but I am more then welcome to lend a hand, to which I respond with I'll meet them at the armory. I hang up and quickly throw on some clothes, I get my luger and quickly ready it for action, even equipping the stock and putting my Enforcer badge on my chest.






I glance to Callie and she looks to be pondering something, she nods to herself "Adam?" she comes over to me, putting a hand on my shoulder "Good luck." with a confident grin.






I smile at her "Thanks Callie, I'll make sure I get back." I make sure I have everything "I think you better get ready too, they are going to want you on scene."






The shekat gives a giggle "Yeah, that's how it goes."






I run out the door and I meet an Enforcer car by the curb and he floors the accelerator. he informs me that we are the strike team is already on site and they are dealing with the villain known as Hard Drive... we are in for a ride if that's the case based on what I have read. We reach the location and it's a live with Enforcer's pinned down, the both of us leave the car with bullets and lasers zipping by, we join some of the Enforcer's behind an infantry fighting vehicle that has had it's turret blown off.






I look around the corner and I become stunned at the sight, three figures are standing in front of the armory, the one in the middle is this kat with some kind of electric field around him, he's wearing some kind of teal coat with wires and strange components with his eyes a digital gold and a blonde mow-hawk standing on end and standing on either side of him is the Metallikats... they're operational again?






I look to the other kats "Who's in charge here?!"






One of the Enforcer's blinks at me "You are sir!" despite wearing the badge that is clearly higher then mine.






I scoff "We need air support and heavy armor, reinforce this line!"






"We can't, they fried our communications equipment!" a loud explosion sounds, I look and I see the car I arrived in crashing into the ground in flames, the kat continues "I guess that's all she wrote."






I take into account how much firepower we have and what we are dealing with... we have no radio and while I don't doubt help is on the way, there is no way we can hold position, I look to the kats "Listen, if we stay here we are dead, we need someplace with entrenched cover!"






A kat goes to protest but one of the armored panels explodes out from what I think is a rocket, I raise an eyebrow as I fold my arms, he nods and we all find cover on the other side of a bridge, good thing to because the ifv explodes to bits, the mechanical figures moving through the fire, I give the order and we open fire. The short machines smirks at me, his left arm changes into a large bore, he aims it upwards and fires...






"MORTAR!!!" and we try to get clear but it hits just behind us, I land hard on the road with a thud, I groan as I try to get up, my gaze going towards the machines, their sights are right on me.






I open fire with my pistol, the small caliber rounds bouncing off their armor plate, both of them laugh as they aim their weapons at me, out of the corner of my eye I see the Swat Kats jet, I grin as I look to the two cyborgs as I stand back up and reload.






The small one looks to me "You made me choke pretty good you furless freak!", he starts to rush towards me "NOW IT'S MY TURN!!!"






I quickly aim and quickly unload the whole magazine against his facial plates which forces him to block his sight with his arms, I side step and he goes running off the edge and into a storm drain.






The tall one screams as she sprints at me "You wise guy!"






From the left Razor comes on his cycle and fires his wrist weapon which hits the machine and gets her attention, I reload and with my last mag and aim, I fire a few times and I blow her left eye out, T-Bone comes from the other side and hurls this red disc which explodes into the mechanical kats back, he types a few commands into his wrist unit and the turbokat is now hovering overhead.






I look past the unit and see Hard Drive moving towards us, he raises his right hand and he is holding a detonator "Let us go, or I level this entire block to the ground!"






The Swat Kats and I look to him with my eye right down the sight, I have a clear shot but I start to wonder if the detonator is rigged, I growl under my breath "Everyone, stand down!"






Razor and T-Bone look to me as I lower my weapon and they nod with the latter looking to Hard Drive "The cowards way out!" in disgust.






Hard Drive gets Molly and they move to where Mac had fallen, this helicopter that somewhat resembles a hind rises with the male machine already aboard, Hard Drive snickers at me and tosses the detonator as they fly away, I run after the detonator and I catch it... that's when I realize it's just a piece of rusted pipe! I toss and fire the last of the magazine at the helicopter but it doesn't do anything, I eject the magazine and I put the weapon away.






Razor comes over, he puts a hand on my shoulder "They won't get far, they never do."






I nod to him "Do you need back up?"






T-Bone has the turbokat land "We should be able to handle it, you're needed where you are."






The two board the jet and they take off, soon the medical personnel arrive along with the reinforcements... seriously? Callie is soon in sight with the mayor and the Commander along with the news crew, as I am being tended to my the medical teams, my gaze goes to where Hard Drive and the Metallikats went... it's been one heck of a first day! What's disturbing is that I overhear a conversation Feral is having with his neice, that Turmoil's escape, the robbery and now this with Hard Drive and the cyborgs can't possibly be a coincidence, I honestly have to agree, add to the fact that the military show around the corner I am starting to panic as my mind starts race with the possibilities......
