His frill is able to rapidly change colour of his scales to create colourful and complex patterns. He does this to either entrance his meals, or to stun predators in order for him to get away. Though this won't protect him from surprise back attacks or arial attacks.

Sebastian feeds on small mammals and birds as well as insects. He will also eat fruit if no animals are available.
