The upper waterfall is also not very tall, but it feeds into a nice little cascade. This si where the paved portion of the Carrick Creek Nature Trail ends.

My brother, who I was visiting, lives in Greenville, SC. That region of South Carolina and North Carolina contains a portion of the Blue Ridge Mountains and literally hundreds of waterfalls. Plenty of great parks, large and small, as well.
