Redesigned my 'sona! This image has SUCH a long story, it started looking like an AWFUL Thrall ripoff before i finally decided to move Yariku out of the Warcraft frame and into the OC territory, where i could finally make him as Japanese and weeby as I wanted. Still some things i intend to iron out with his outfit in a later image, but for now i really like how this turned out. Probably my favorite piece i've drawn so far~

Anyways, a little detail on the character.

Yariku Takegawa comes from a line of actors and stage performers, his family most notable for producing Onnagata and Taikomochi. As such he was trained in the performance arts very early, though he bore little love for the acting and instead admired the Shamisen players on the sidelines. Today he doesn't perform on stage very much, but still enjoys playing a good song to anyone who will listen.
