No. It's a mix of about six or seven different firearms (Battle rifles, Assault rifles, and Sniper-rifles) all conglomerated into one superior firearm. Here's a list: H&K G3, H&K PSG1, H&K XM8, M14, Koborov TKB-022, Sig Sauer Sig55X series. All of those were major inspirations for the design.

Bullpups. For when you want the shortness of a carbine with the range of a full length rifle.
Totally biased of course, but hell. The NZDF loves it's Steyr..

Well, my brother was in the Cadets back in the 90s, but mostly what I know, I know from letting my fingers do the tapping.
