i suggest looking to a few photos.
Glad you like, my friend, and thanks for commenting.
The Spitfire was already out and fighting from a few years. Its first flight was in may 1938, if i recall correctly.
But you are right, the Spit was simply awesome. And it was also great merit of that amazing engine that the RR Merlin was.
Of course, the later versions of the Spit used the Rolls Royce Griffon, even more powerful, with up to 2500 hp moving a five-blades propeller. That's why the Spitfire MK21 was so powerful.
A Spitfire was the first plane ever at shooting down a jet fighter, a ME262 of the germans, to be precise.
One of the reasons I'm especially impressed with your work is the wide range of military technology you have knowledge of and can make use of. Although most people really don't have a lot of knowledge about military technology, I'd expect most of the people who do to mostly know only about their own military or in the least have a rose-colored view about it. It's remarkable to see you use technology from Britain to Russia and everywhere between.
Most important though is not what you know but how you use your knowledge. That's why it's awesome that you don't just copy modern day military technology but build upon it for the technology in Legend. It's very cool that the technology is more advanced so you can explore concepts and ideas ahead of their time. It's also great that in Legend you can create designs without worrying about being limited by politics or finances.
On that note you mentioned that the Typhoon F3 was based on the Eurofighter Typhoon and I'm assuming the Suhkoi SU30 MKI is based on the Russian Suhkoi SU30, but I'm also guessing that because they are Legend designs they're more advanced than their modern day counterparts. It would be great to hear about what kind of improvements and changes you would make to modern-day designs. Especially with the technology available in the world of Legend you have a tremendous amount of possibilities at hand.
Aside from the technology (which is always great to see) it's also good to see profile images of some of the other characters in Legend as well. Although the focus should be on Killer and Alexis because they're the main characters it's good to see other characters appear as well, especially to compare between them. For example, because you are so talented with musculature it's good to see how well you draw both Richard and Fenrir (although ironically in your latest chapter before you pointed out the werewolf was Fenrir I thought this was who you meant and I was confused). Although they are of similar build and species, you do a good job giving them both unique features so they both look like individuals. Likewise you do a good job of making them look big and strong while still not giving them the same kind of muscle definition Killer has. On the opposite side of that you've been doing a good job including smaller and sleeker figures in your work lately as well. Maverick here is a great example of that; you do a good job making him look unique and the spotted pattern is well done too.
Killer, I really want to talk to you more about your work but it feels really overwhelming because I don't want to disappoint you but I also can't live up to the quality or the quantity of your work. I do still enjoy both your art and your story but if it's okay I'd like to more casually talk about your work with you. As always, it's a pleasure seeing all your accomplishments and I thank you very much for sharing them and being so courteous with me.
And oh, well. Fenrir is... a coincidence. The pilot is named after the mythological beast that Killer and Alexis slaughtered, that's it. (grins and nods)
As to the planes, well... there's many changes from reality to Legend:
the Typhoon of Legend, for example, is fitted with additional electronics and countermeasures (in the square-section "spine" you can see in the picture connecting cockpit and rudder base), a special spherical 360° coverage electronic-scansion array radar, vector-thrust propulsion and more powerful missiles. It also uses very often Conformal Fuel Tanks that fit on the sides of the fuselage, sorta like with the US F15E.
The SU30 is similarly fitted with very advanced technology.
I'm glad you like how Fenrir and Talon look, though. I thought it was finally time to show some more characters of Legend and give an image of them, and i tried my best to ensure i did it well.
