He has a sheath-like ridge, but it looks a lot more sheath-like here. To be honest, it's become more sheath-like as time has gone.

It's more of a bump with a slit at the front in males and a slit at the back for females I guess... I have yet to make an official reference for my dragons' genital specifics! XD Yogoloth being a hybrid makes things even more complex for him of course.

Something slit-like is a lot easier to work into plates/scutes when it's being drawn realistically, with a sheath it takes some detailing to get it to blend in naturally.
Though I would probably still give the sheathed look a slight favor overall, I dunno, maybe personal preference but it seems like male dragons look sexier with some obviously-male features showing. Or at least when they're spreading their legs and teasing you with it :P

Life here's been mediocre at best I suppose. Weather's crappy, no motivation, need to move to another state but can't find a place to rent out. Typical first-world problems.

I like there to be something different externally that separates males from females on dragons... but no balls and no boobs.

Everybody's gotta start somewhere... I'm sure glad I didn't join this place in my teenage years, the art quality would have been... somewhat lacking. Maybe not terrible but still pretty awkward. Just go get a sketchpad or tablet and start drawing something embarrassing.
I do think balls look good on the more mammalized feral dragon designs, those without heavy scales or armor. Boobs are pretty much limited to anthros though.

Yeah I think there's been maybe 5 or 6 non-wet days here in the past month. Which is a loadocrap.

There's always a few monsters hanging around in my head, maybe I've been drooling over a couple of them lately, though not sure when they'll be rendered properly... have to think of an unusual environment to put them in first.

Oh, I keep them fairly clean. Once I've settled down from hunting, flying, mating etc, I give my body the once over.
