the drake and the dog
so, here I am, me , a handsome blue drake , balancing head first in the mouth of some creature not much bigger than myself. I bet I look so silly. There is one downside to my body structure though; I have no scales . That sounds really wierd for a dragon though isn't it? Anyway, back to the more , shall I say, serious part. Ok , ill tell you how it happened ...
I was trotting along happily after a nice nap through the fields. I came to a cave (or was it a massive hole?) in the side of a small mound. With nothing else to do I wandered in as curiosity took ythe better of me. It was dark in her e. After walking for around 2 minutes I reached what I presumed a dead end . As I turned around to go back I noticed another ,slightly hidden, opening. Again I steped in. Again I made a great mistake that may cost me my life.the cave smelt of dung and fur. I gulped. Somehow I felt I was not alone. A drop of condensation landed on my snout and it tricked into my nostril, making me sneeze. The loud sound echoed though the cave a nd the sound disturbed something in the far corner .in a flash, I found my head in a pair of jaws. The canines pressed into my chin drawing a few drops of blue blood . This seemed to excite it and it tipped it's head back, dangling my body out of it's mouth. A furry creature only ever so slightly bigger than me had caught me and now attempted to devour me , whole and alive. I had been caught off guard and therefore had no time to defend myself. I realised that, to my great horror , that my scaleless body slid easily and smoothley Down his throat. My forelegs were now useless as the y were pinned against my body joining me on my sile down the gullet. The predator(I guessed now by the fur I'm furiously slashing at and the style it is eating that it is a dog. A giant dog) seemed to be groaning with pleasure at the thought of his belly being fuller than it had for years . The rest of my body slid smoothely in to join me in the tight confined space we plopped into. All that was leftof me on the outside world is my 15 foot tail .!the dog gulped down the first 5 ft then slurped up the rest of my tail like a piece of spaghetti and as the last two feet dissapeared down his throat I lost all hope of survival and let him savour the tip. He smacked his lips shut and gave one mighty gulp and the rest of me was sent down his neck in a big bulge Wich rested in the stomach region. His belly sagged tothe floor with my body and I sighed an wriggled until I spased out and fell still. The digestive enzymes got to work. The dog dreamily laid down, belly jigglin like a jelly as he shifted into the most comfy position to digest the drake . He fell asleep and left his gut to it .
About the next day a loud gurgling , slipping noise erupted from the dog as the remains of the handsome drake slopped into the intestines.
