Stranded With The Enemy 7
While exploring the mountains, Pete and Lilith took a bad step and the ground gave out beneath their feet. Lilith managed to grab hold of an edge to keep from falling, but Pete wasn't so lucky. He fell and landed on a small ledge down below them, badly injuring his leg in the process. He winced in pain as he sat up and looked down at his leg, blood beginning to pool on the ground beneath it. Then he looked down off the ledge he was on. The ground was way down beneath him. He would surely die if he fell from where he was at. He then looked up at Lilith, still hanging onto the edge above him. She was looking back down at him, eyes wide with worry.
"SHEPHERD!!!" she shouted down to him.
With a pain filled grunt, Pete shouted back up at her. "MY LEG IS INJURED! IT MIGHT BE BROKEN!"
Pete then began to realize just how much of a very bad situation he was now in. With his leg injured as it was, there was no way he'd ever be able to climb to safety by himself, and the only one who could possibly help him now was the untrustworthy monkey scum up above him. His heart sank at the realization that his life was totally in Lilith's hands now.
