\n\n All of the jokes and threats, you think would hurt

\n\n Standing out in the open makes me feel free
\n\n However it leaves me open to those who wish me ill
\n\n Physical pain only lasts so long, not much I can do about it

\n\n I do stop and think every now and then
\n\n About the things I went through
\n\n It can almost break my soul, but I'm not broken

\n\n I'm still walking on, It has been a very lonely trek
\n\n Would be nice if along the way someone came with me
\n\n Even after all this time that hope is still burning, but for now I'm alone

\n\n I may live a short life, or I may live a long one
\n\n A life lived without laughter is no life at all, no matter how dark it seems
