Red's Interesting Day

Our story starts in the bedroom of a young spaniel puppy named Red. Red was a ten year old dog, with a beautiful crimson coat of fur from which his parents chose his name. The pup was around the average height for his age with a chubby little belly from eating a little too much over time, though not an unhealthy amount. Thanks to his father, he had also inherited slightly longer fur than a spaniel would normally possess and it lead to him often having to get fur cuts to stop it getting in his eyes and such.

Right now, the young boy was clad in a light grey t-shirt with his favorite TV show on the front, an animated show for boys his age about a cool dog who solves mysteries. Lower down he wore a pair of jeans that rested perfectly above his young naked foot paws. He was laying on the couch in his front room on his own at the moment, while his dad was in work and his mom was busy with housework this was often what he did. Probably part of the reason for that chub of his.

Either way, right now he was bored...very bored. His favorite show wasn't on, nothing he could find on the TV was good either, stupid weekend schedule. The puppy needed something to do and the more he thought about it the more options he could think up. So with a groan of effort he pushes himself onto his paws and stretches before heading off...

(A) Outside into the back yard to play.
(B) Upstairs to see if he can find anything interesting to do in his room.
(C) To go find his mom to see if she has any ideas.
(D) To call his friends to see if they want to come over and play for a while.
