Sketch Session!
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I actually managed to take part in a rather fantastic online stream session with a very excellent artist by the title of "ashascadence". Her artwork is downright amazing. Expensive but amazing! She does the best of anthro/furry characters from avians to lupines to nagas to dragons and more. All of which you could even include an epic background. I hope I can actually get her to do a commission for me featuring Nyrina in her homeland of Onyx Bay; the coast and black boulders that make the coast the Onyx Bay.
Anyway, during the online sketching, I in fact felt like a naga mood. She actually took my request to heart and - alongside the direwolf kind of character, the gryphon bad ass - she created my Syndis character; a sea serpent she-naga. In Felldew, Syndis is a bed time story that otters in fact tell their little ones all of the time. "Don't go near the water without permission. Unless, of course, you want the sea snake to get you." But then there's another tale, the true story, in the Norlinthian archives that actually list Syndis as a real Felldewan. She was a she snake who used to play around in Onyx Bay long ago. A certain human befriended her after a time, looking out for her. One day, she vanished. As did her human friend. For you see, they had set off together to see the world of Felldew as the best of friends.
Ha ha, so, moving on from the history lesson, I hope this picture looks cool to you all. I LOVE how Asha put all three characters into one submission, like all three of us guys agreed we wanted. Heh, which one is cooler? They all have their own pluses and cons. I keep thinking I like the other two more than Syndis. But then I come back to her and smile. In the end, the artist is amazing. All credit is due to her awesome skills: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/ashascadence/

The "dire wold" here looks kinda like a sergal.
Very awesome gryphon. Extra points for it being a different combination of a lion/eagle.
Syndis looks very awesome. So will she get her own mini story?
Either way, yes, the one called "Shadowsin" has to be a Sergal. The likeness is too great to not be.
The Gryphon, I never got a name for. I don't know why. I would have loved to hear it. Was forgotten I suppose. :( But he looks awesome.
Syndis was a favorite of the chatters. Her name fit well, as I was hoping. Ssssssyndissss. Ha ha, it just seems to work.
And as for a mini-story for Syndis, when I get more art - an actual spotlight for her - I am sure I will include a snippet like I've been doing with the artwork I've posted recently. :) She does deserve a mini-story, being a fable of Onyx Bay. So we will see in the future, won't we? If I can keep from being tired or have the passion to write about her soon.
Thanks for leaving your thoughts, Aaronn. Your words always inspire me, bud.
