"Insignificant Otters" - Page 1
Obviously, these two aren't going to get along very well, are they? * ^^ *
If you're late to the party, allow us to fill you in. "Insignificant Otters" (a pun with "significant others", get it?) is a comic strip Riffraff and I worked up because we realize as housemates and life-long friends, we DO bicker quite a lot, and we were trying to picture what it might be like stuck on a deserted island. Then we thought, well, let's not make them human at all, what about otters? And we had our concept. * ^^ *
So, welcome to the debut page! <3 This is Emma and Kevin. You don't know too much about them right now, other than the fact that we're not following "Blue Lagoon" rules here. There is no romantic love here, nor baby-making occurring. As much as Kevin might have a deep crush for Emma, she positively can't stand him. But it's not enough to be stranded together and we HAD to work out some way to bring real-life events and current fads, etc. to the forefront. We did it. * ^^ * We also managed to bring in a lot of elements the die-hard sci-fi fan loves, like RPGs, video gaming, TV, movies, comic, etc. We took a few cues from webcomics we'd seen in the past, and feel we've got a winner here.
