Resonance: A Prayer for Ruin
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This song is actually 3 small songs; or perhaps better put, a prayer in 3 parts. It reflects an era that I feel more comfortable with; when churches were concert halls, and pieces had movements to them.
These three pieces by themselves would not stand alone; but together they resonate with each other to paint an unhappy picture. The organ, full of judgement and despair; The piano, a soft reflection of atonement wasted. The wind orchestra, a courtly ensemble lamenting the chances we missed to be good to one another.
I see the world falling to ruin around me all the time; Sometimes the sun parts the clouds, but all too soon is another thunderstorm on the horizon. At some point, I can only pray that people get everything they deserve for destroying those around them.
This is, technologically speaking, a bit more advanced than my usual fare. I hope it still sounds alright.
