This is a very good work of art, though I am sad to see that, besides the coloring(which is regretfully neglected by the artist) the Saya is absent, though the Sageo appears to be present. The Nihonto itself appears to be lacking in detail, particularly on the Hamon line, as well as the Bo-Hi, but that is negligible.

The stance is also absolutely incorrect--he is totally off balance. I was beaten senseless with a maple cane for a stance like that repeatedly by my teacher for taking stances similar to that one. I still have the scars to prove it too, and that happened 10 years ago. Can't say the instruction was too harsh, though. I'm 19, and haven't broken a bone in my body doing this yet! Idk, I'm just a stickler for the stance I guess, it's hardwired. I wonder honestly if you are a kata in real life, however. Shayde most deffinately looks a good sparring partner, super and preturnatural abilities aside.
