Poppy Daugherty
Here's Poppy Daugherty, one of Captain James Daugherty's cousins who appears in Part-8 of my novel, "Daggers of Darkness - Into the Black". It was in Poppy's home that CWO3 Sylvia Stewert, GMM1 Ivor McElroy, and YM2 Felix Canberra stayed while the crew and ship spent a weekend on Terra prior to embarking upon their first mission.
Poppy is a lonely, single, working mom having to raise her two kits (Daisy and Rosetta) alone. In the story Felix thinks she's a nice gal and feels sorry for her, and they end up spending a night together...with Felix demonstrating a few things he learned from having lived among the Elendorians for seven months, much to Poppy's delight. ;)
Btw, Poppy [i]does[/i] have some human in her, in case anyone is wondering...there will be more about her in the next adventure. :)

I drew her using my usual drawing tools (0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, 6B graphite stick, various blending and shading tools, and on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper).
