Nomax Realism Portrait
Title can't be empty.

I don't typically go all the way in for realism. I mean i'm not exactly miles away either but that very sort of neat and tidy realism isn't something i lean into overly so. So i simply wanted to see how far i could push it with this one. Of course i could push it further by just throwing manhours at it and cleaning things up further, but i had to call it quits at some point and get back to work. Was fun to work on though!
Don't think i'll use it as an avatar though, my current one just has a much better read at those lower resolutions.

This is fantastic... and even better that we can zoom in and see what makes it tick. Always amazing to see such work up close... the glasses and nose pad especially. Superlative!

P.S. Fave and five for you good sir.
While the ears grab my attention, I just love the play of light on his eyes and glasses, not to mention his expressive muzzle and his cute moist nose!
I feel like this is a portrait of a canine to be found at the 18th century Académie de Peinture et de Sculpture :)
