Copy&paste as always:
Welp, my second matte-painting! Now able to avoid some of the awkwardness that appeared during the first one ! At this point matte painting is still somewhat of a love-hate relationship. I really love what is possible to achieve and how much time you can save, but on the other hand the process to achieving it just feels really strange to me currently. I'm still wrestling with the fact that the picture looks utter shit right up untill the last 20% of the process where everything begins to fall together finally. It always feels like i am much more likely to overlook mistakes that way and i constantly have to calm myself down to not get to excited about the finishing touches :/
Anyway, upped the stakes a little bit with this one, architecture and a figure! ( I still don't like doing architecture...)

Truly amazing work!
Wow, nice work putting this together. It's difficult to tell the "real" bits from the drawn bits... and the REALLY well done part is that you can't tell the "blending" layers from the mats. Nice job.
