The stone ceiling has covered the dread sky and there is no wind to caress your wounded wings. You're just a beast to them, but who knows you have a heart full of poetry?

It's not easy being a dragon too modest and too negative to think well of my work.
At first from thumbnail I thought it is inspired by Souls, but before I managed to mouse over it clicked. The shiver that run along my spine of recognition of the very scene this depicts is astonishing.
Job terrifyingly well done.
There is sliver of hope that one day the story this comes from will leave the immaterial world of electronic medium and transforms to physical one of velum and leather and I personally thing art like this should accompany it. Just a thought.
