That is both sad and beautiful! This is one of the works of art I've seen recently that manage to tell a long story with a single image.

Absolutely! He knows exactly how to create a profound, serene, very touching art, which doesn't need a single word to tell a whole story!

Wow, I can't describe how this makes me feel with words, but, I must say his expression and face is really earnest and soulful.

Also coming back to look at this again I get the feeling of almost sadness or a dejection from the society(of lions? because he has a short mane?).

I am not sure how you are supposed to capture such emotion in a picture, but you obtained that in one fell swoop, The sheer quality of this image is explosive. I commend you on this one.
