piece i spent a longer portion of time on, this was probably something like 2-3 hours? was mostly practice to teach myself to do some proper shading and blending using this somewhat bad art program that i use most the time(just because it's comfy)
anyhow this is suppose to be the focal point of a card from Magic The Gathering called Phyrexian Unlife, always loved the art for it and the effect it has on the player.
also quite old, and looking back, there's a lot of things i could've changed or done a bit better. maybe if i was using a good art program at the time, i could've upsized it and gone into a little bit more detail, but the pixel size of this is quite small for what it's worth.
