In one potential future, automation and advances in technology and AI have wrought sweeping changes upon the world. Organic labor has been rendered obsolete, allowing the populace to refocus the efforts of society towards science and the continued improvement and advancement of sapient beings. Inevitably, part of this movement took shape as a push to quite literally reinvent the body and the mind, which eventually culminated in the invention of mind digitization, and the housing of these minds in the bodies of synths.

Into this world, Komuros was born with the knowledge and mental capacity of a young organic adult, though not with much, if any, of the life experience essential to functioning in the society he lives in. Though not a product of biological reproduction, he was created at the behest of a synth couple who themselves had existed as dragons before abandoning their former bodies. Thus, he also carries the family name of Tormazu.

Komuros' personality is outwardly pensive and detached, but he is quite friendly and open whenever he might find himself in a conversation. His lack of real-world experience manifests as both a certain innocence and as an intense curiosity of the organic experience and of pre-synth society. He is a voracious consumer of knowledge and cultural information, and jumps at any opportunity he finds to learn more.
