Chapter Two: Journey’s Start, Part Two
“Well Isen it looks like we found your guy, too bad he’s already dead.” Elliot said as she climbed up the building looking at the blood slashed mess, which Benji was. She walked over to him and carelessly pulled the phone out of his pocket before it got too bloodstained. She handed the phone to Isen and he placed it back in his pocket.
“Don’t lose this again, and put a password on it.” Elliot said as she lectured Isen. “And not 1, 2, 3, 4; you might not have come from our technology advanced world, but even your mind should be able to figure out why that is a bad password.”
“Thank you Miss Elliot.” Isen said as he typed on his phone and set a password on it. He would be sure to protect it, “Now then, perhaps we should return to the lab with this fine looking specimen and figure out what is happening with his brain.”
“Isen, please stop complementing the criminals, that’s how you nearly got us hung at the witch trails, three times. Though on the last time I wonder how long they did watch us till we resurfaced, good idea getting the phones waterproofed though.” Elliot said as she pulled out her own phone and formed a barrier around the group.
Quite quickly instead of transporting back to what would be the construction site, instead traveling through space as well and landing back at their base, a simple underwater base made from funds left over from the Big Dig. It was submerged about four miles off the coast and was partially buried under the dirt and soot to hide them.
She quickly used her phone again and this time teleported the shark onto their morgue table where there scientist would scan the shark and get some information on what must have been a bloody good fight. Elliot however needed to go on patrol.
“Ok, should I get Blake down here, see what sort of things we can extract, scan his brain before the blood drains out of it?” Isen asked as he looked at Elliot, pointing towards his phone, knowing she knew how much he knew how much he would enjoy having the third Outsider on his team.
“No, keep Blake away. We don’t need him for now.” Elliot asked as she decided to follow the code not involve the radioactive lizard. She looked around, walking towards the supercomputer and figuring the next patrol area to examine. She turned around and looked at Isen who was giving her an adorable look.
“Ah don’t do that, don’t make that look with your silver eyes. Oh no how do you do that, seriously you need to control that. Listen if Blake is already here then you can use his powers, just don’t do anything.” Elliot said as she teleported away not wanting to be caught in the resulting explosion. Then finally she teleported out of the underwater base with shame on her face to the Boston streets.
“Blake you can come out now, she left.” Isen said as suddenly from next to the supercomputer, a locker opened. A green lizard with green eyes and partially green hair stepped out of the locker and on to the underwater base. He gleamed with energy as he walked out, his body continuously producing radiation.
He had an energy transistor in his back to store that energy and let it out by turning it into normal energy and making it safe to normal people. He was a lizard standing at 6 feet even, his scales were lined with silver that built up on his body as isotopes formed on his body and broke down.
“Are you sure you want to do this, my powers aren’t something to play with. Just like how I have to be careful because of the silver on my scales, you should be careful with my powers.” Blake said as he wanted to be sure of what Isen was going to do.
“All were going to do is play with a dead body, use your radiation to see if we can bring back a body or create an abomination of science, either way both of those were very popular fields to study during my times, how far has science come today, so many papers not enough time to read them all.” Isen said reflecting on his background in the revolutionary eras, such simple times.
“Ah yes, the pre-revolutionary times, have we gotten rid of Napoleon yet, might be a few years early but still back then they didn’t have wave particle duality, now the pilot wave is all the rage.” Blake said as he laughed knowing that might still confuse the wolf, he was slowly catching up on five hundred years of science that accelerated at an exponential rate.
“No, what does that mean.” Isen asked as he decided to further his knowledge a bit further. Luckily he was gifted with a knowledge and school and Isen knew how to read and write and most of the wrong chemical knowledge and their health standards.
“Well, have you figured out that all light travels at the same speed and that there are invisible levels of light such as the few that come from the sun or the stars at night?” Blake asked knowing that he could promptly blow Isen’s mind. He laughed a bit as he opened one of the sealed doors, entering the morgue and viewing the dead shark’s body.
“Yes, speed equals frequency times wavelength and energy of an electron equals frequency times plank’s constant.” Isen said as he looked at the throat of the dead shark, resisting all urges to poke his thumb into the hole.
“Well you can connect that to energy equals mass time the speed of light, and basically if you plug the mass and speed of normal objects in you get the idea that their wave lengths are so small you can’t see them and they appear as particles. Basically it was the connection between general and quantum mechanics and we had it for two hundred years before anyone had any idea on what to do with it.” Blake said as Isen looked numbed at the realization that nearly everything was connected, he would need to read more and figure this out.
“Ok, never mind bring back a dead body, we need to read this. Turn around.” Isen said as his attention shifted and he decided to turn around. He exited the room, Blake groaning with boredom as he realized that Isen’s attention span was all over the place, and he wouldn’t get to do anything until Isen calmed down, but at least he would have some time to enjoy.
However, as Benji’s body was left alone his neck wound started to close, clots forming around the wound and closing up, falling off and disappearing, new skin forming on his body and closing the wound as Benji’s body looked perfectly healed. He gasped and flew up looking around seeing where he was and feeling his neck.
“I’m alive?” Benji said in sheer disbelief as he suddenly realized that he might have been more immortal than he though. Looking around he found a scalpel holder and pulled one out, squeezing on it and forming a gash on his body. He let go of the scalpel as his mortal instincts took hold and he looked at what he did to his hand.
Quite quickly colts formed on his hand and feel off new skin forming on his skin. The colts dropped off and the wound was gone, like it had never appeared. No scar, no blood nothing to suggest that he cut himself with a scalpel. He smiled a bit as he realized that he was immortal, however that faded as he realized that he lost his phone again.
He walked over to the door realizing it was electronically sealed, and he would need the correct biometrics to open it, which he would doubtfully have. Instead he stood up and looked out the window; the wolf from before, Isen and a strange new lizard. Looking around he needed a way to escape, something to open and escape through, maybe a vent or something.
He turned around and looked for any exits, but it seemed that the morgue was sealed off, possibly so it could function as quarantine in case of some sort of emergency during a pandemic. The virus can’t get in nor can it get out, so Benji looked around knowing that he would either need the Outsider to return, though he was doubtful he would win a one-on-two battle, so he needed some other way out.
“Ok Isen, how about instead of trying to destroy an electron to prove that the one electron theory doesn’t work, how about we assume it doesn’t and instead we do something else, why don’t we sleep instead it’s about 10:00 at night, so maybe we could go home.” Blake said as Benji realized that it had been at least three hours since he died, he at least hoped time normally passed in revolution world.
“Ok, you’re no fun.” Isen said as he calmed down and returned to his normal state. The metal in the building relaxed as Isen’s passive powers were lowered, and a few shards of metal fell of his body. Isen pulled out his phone and dialed in the teleport his body glowing and disappearing into a light. A few seconds later Blake did the same as well, leaving him in the base alone.
He waited a few seconds as he was proved to be alone in the base, he didn’t want to make his escape until he was sure that Elliot or some sort of fourth unknown Outsider decided to appear. He figured this would better, as he could steal an untethered phone, something that wouldn’t be tracked something they wouldn’t miss.
He looked around and saw the door had a few screws on it; they appeared to be partially loosened. He crawled on the floor, grabbing the scalpel again and walking to the door. He inserted the scalpel into the panels and took out the screw, before taking the panel off and getting a look at the inside of the door, there appeared to be five wires.
He ponded witch one would cut electricity to the door and allow it to be opened. His powers responded and electrical cutters formed in his hand. He looked at the five wires and wondered which did which, thinking about the question and pondered the answer.
However, he thought perhaps it was a trick. He instead put his hand into the panel and found a sixth wire hidden near the top. His cutters switched hands and he decided to go with an option no one would think off, the hidden wire, the other five were probably a trap, and the sixth would be the true one.
Deciding that it wasn’t a double trick, he snapped the sixth wire and quickly pulled his hand out of the door as the electrical signal was cut and the locks unsnapped. However he wanted to make sure no one would be on to him. He grabbed a block and placed it in between the door and the wall. He quickly went to work, as electrical tape formed in his hand.
Sure that he wouldn’t be discovered, as the door clanged back to life, he placed the scalpel into where it came from and made sure the floor was cleaned up. He sneaked through the gap and pulled out the block, the door closing and locking as he was left in the main room.
He looked around as suddenly the main computer turned back on. He briefly thought it was warming itself up, but as info appeared he realized something. It was like a phone, turning on as it user looked at it. It was responding to someone teleporting into the base. Benji looked around, and found a set of lockers.
He ran at them, placing the cube in the bottom and making sure he was in an empty locker as he shoved himself in and trapped himself in it. He was trapped and soon enough Elliot did teleport back to the base. Benji slowed down his breathing as he reacted to the sudden appearance of the Outsider leader.
He slowed his breath down, making sure it wouldn’t be heard in the empty area, as he tried to hide his presence. He stiffened up like a dead body, making sure that he wouldn’t show up. She looked around viewing the place as she walked over towards the electronically sealed door.
He knew the second she was in the room, she would know what happened. Deciding to set off the trap that would have gotten him, had he not thought. As she entered the room, he quickly exited the locker and followed her towards the room. He approached the open door as she looked around suddenly realizing that Benji was behind him.
“Bye, bye.” Benji said, waving as he formed cutters in his hand and cut the trap wires, pulling himself out of the doors and back into the main room as the door locked and sealed, hopefully trapping her. Deciding to take a quicker way out, he formed a phase shifter in his hand and passed through the next door, which was under a banner stating technology.
He looked around and there was a locked locker, quite obvious, using the phase shifter to pick up one of the phones. He looked at it and scanned it, on the side there was the sim card loader. He pulled out the card and threw it to the side, hopefully removing tracking capabilities. He turned on the phone and he looked behind him.
Both doors leading to him had opened and Elliot was running at him trying to kill him. Before she could shoot at him, he waved at her as she shot at her, sliding the phone app and teleporting out of the bunker. He ducked as he appeared in the Victorian world, landing underwater as the bullets slowed down and he was able to dodge them.
Using the water as his guide, he floated upwards knowing that he would only have a few seconds before Elliot appeared and came from him. He looked around and surfaced, swimming at full speed towards the bay. He figured she might bay forward and swam downwards, hoping to flank her. He needed to be stealthy and disappear into the town.
He let the current take him, knowing that she wouldn’t figure that. He looked around and hoped that she couldn’t track him. Deciding that he couldn’t be tracked; Benji grabbed his phone, luckily still waterproof, he teleported into the modern era.
Benji took a breath as he landed on a steel pole in the water, a support beam for the overwater apartments. He held himself there for a few seconds, as he thought about his next actions. He wanted to get more information, more exposition, to fill his mind and decide who to back.
He climbed up the pole knowing he would have to get on dry land before he could shift back into the revolutionary world. Forming the same magnetic gloves from before he pulled himself up the steel beam, climbing up onto the pole and switching himself up onto the main steel deck.
Benji pulled himself up onto the pier, landing next to one of the dangerously stupid edge apartments. Landing on the road he walked out, trying to dry himself off and lower suspicion on himself. He walked down the road, nearly slipping on his shoes as the road curved down back into mainland Boston. He continued walking, making sure that he wouldn’t teleport back into the see because they extended the sea line as well.
“Ok, first thing’s first find Greg.” Benji said as he reopened his phone, opening the app and for the first time there was no warning on the screen. Clicking on the button, he disappeared in a flash of white light. When he opened his eyes, he was on land, not dead, and not being chased by a group of crazy people.
Looking around he walked into the crowds of the soon to be revolutionaries. He wondered what year he was in and how close he was to the revolution. It would be cool to see how the war played out, he could alter events and make a world for the want of a nail. Looking around he decided that he would simply get disinterested with that world.
“Ok, first things first, I don’t have a sim card, but I should be able to access the data centers.” Benji said as he walked over, going back into the alley, ignoring the craziness of the revolutionary world. With his phone he checked behind him making sure no wendigoes followed him into the world.
Making sure that location tracking was off, he entered the data center of the phone and entered the criminals section. Quite quickly did he find Greg’s file, nearly at the top below the supervillain list. Clicking on it, he entered Greg’s file.
…
He was surrounded by a room of people, all of them sitting down in those uncomfortable blue plastic seats. In the front was Greg and he was smiling, as Benji looked around the room he quickly memorized the people in the room and tried to figure each and every one, get in their heads and figure their story out.
“Well, Benji try to figure me out, one of these people are my closet associate, and while each of these people have been seen with me, only my best friend can help you in this situation today.” Greg said as he suddenly disappeared out of the area.
“Well then, you seem to operate in revolutionary times, so anyone from the modern era leave.” Benji said, the sharp doing a metaphorical swipe right and everyone flocking out of the room leaving him with what appeared to be a few Bostonians.
“A blacksmith, he wouldn’t need. A medicine man, we are immortal.” Benji said shooing two off as he looked at the group of about ten. Looking around he scanned the group, looking for weaknesses. He looked around and viewed all the people in the group.
“Ok, miner, wheelwright and printer, go away.” Benji said as he examined his group, however then he realized something. Greg would need someone to bring all of his people together, he couldn’t randomly teleport in and talk to them, he needed to deliver letters.
Everyone flooded out of the room except for the letter carrier, Benji walked forward looking at the man as he tried to figure him out. He walked around in circles, viewing the letter carrier as he tried to extrapolate information from the man. He looked at his clothes, a peasants outfit. Greg must not have paid him much.
“So you’re the paper man, now then why would you be so important to him. Delivering lets is quite an important thing in these days, but there must be something more. Something hidden, something deeper, something you have been trying to hide for a long, long time.” Koji said as he mentally searched through his phone in his mindscape.
“Interesting, very interesting, files here of your meeting with Greg, even though you say you’re only 23, you’d would be 13 in this clip, yet you appear the same right now. What’s up with that doc?” Benji said as he walked around the paper carrier, George Hamill.
“Strange name to, as if created on the spot by someone with little to no knowledge of these times. Too many puzzle pieces fit together and yours go right together with Greg, no I suggest you prepare yourself because I am coming for you.” Benji said as a spotlight shined on George for a few seconds before it fell and crushed him knocking Benji back into the real world.
Benji put his phone in his pocket and jumped up, looking around as he stood under the midday sun of the revolution town. He noticed that time was opposite in this world and while it was 11:00 at night in his world, it was 11:00 in the morning here. He figured he couldn’t work two jobs then, too much confusion.
He climbed up the side of the building, pushing himself up to the top and looking around the Bostonian skyline, which was still low. Everything was still brick and mortar, no tar interstates cutting up the town, only confusion town ways that shouldn’t be turned into roads.
He jumped to the next building hoping that the weak structure support would not collapse and allow him over. As soon as he figured that he wasn’t going to fall through to the floor and land awkwardly, he continued towards George’s last known location. He crossed Boston and quickly made it to the other side of the city, he hid onto of the roof tops looking down on the mail courier as he waited for the man to return.
The outsider’s data bank kept quite a bit of information on people including schedules, the NSA would be jealous over how much they had. He would need to wait at least an hour until he arrived. As he waited during the time suddenly his phone vibrated and he received a text message, it was from Elliot.
…
“I see your going after Greg, we’ve had him in our looks for a while but we are willing to spare chasing you for a while if you go after a few targets in your spare time.” Elliot said to him as she walked around the virtual head space, looking at Benji at he viewed her.
“Why would I do that, I have a mission from my superior and trust me you don’t want to interfere.” Benji said as he matched her walking and spun around in a circle, looking at Elliot with his intense eyes. He wanted to see how far he would go and how far she would go.
“Who’s your employer, perhaps we could meet and share vital technologies see how that goes.” Benji texted back as he had his conversation with Elliot over texting.
“Trust me if I told you, you wouldn’t believe. I’ve seen things you wouldn’t believe but I’ll tell you this, he is a much higher power than anyone in the FBI would ever know.” Benji said exchanging banter with her, he knew at least creating a friendly relationship would go a longer to protecting him.
“Well then, I won’t go after you, but if you do anything criminal or anything that possibly interferes with our work, our situation will reverse. For now consider this a personal favor from me, whoever your employer is watch out if you’re dealing with someone that powerful they can bite back as well.” Elliot said as their texts ended, he turned his attention back to the situation at hand.
…
Benji looked around at his vantage point, taking in information as he finally saw the mail carrier return from his daily job and return to the building. Deciding to take the sneaky approach, he jumped over the street gap and stopped on top of the building.
He crawled along the edges of the building, until he found a window. Lucky enough for him, he was able to enter through and come into the building. Looking around he appeared to be in a storage attic, perhaps a place for Greg to hid on his way out.
Walking forward he suddenly heard steps behind him. He threw himself against the wall next to the door and waited for it open. Luckily for him and time constraints it was George walking into the attic. Waiting a few seconds he walked up behind the ram, hoping the he could grab his horns and pull him over his body.
“I’m sorry, his name is not John Cena.” George suddenly said turning around and grabbing both of Benji’s arms. Benji looked shocked at what was happening. “Are you daft or something don’t you know that us demons can read minds.”
Benji stood silent as he decided to save himself the answering of that question, instead he decided isolate himself and hopefully piss the ram off more. George waited a few seconds before he grabbed Benji pulled him close and slammed him on the ground.
“You must be new, you must have thought I was a silly little ram doing Greg’s dirty work, well unfortunately for you I am Greg’s dirty work. One of the escaped demons he uses to enforce his propaganda and control the populace. Now then fear me I’ve killed hundreds of Hunters.” The demon said as his hand glowed red, slamming it down at Benji.
“Not so fast.” Benji yelled as he formed a shield on his body, bouncing the fist off and saving him. It bought him enough time that he was able to roll back and land on his feet. The shield disappeared and an energy weapon formed instead, he pointed it at George waiting for him to react.
“You seriously think that will work.” George said getting a shrug out of Benji. He put the energy weapon down and instead pulled out his phone. Benji ran forward at George, jumping forward as the demon prepared to bounce him off. Instead however, Benji shifted and disappeared.
George turned around waiting for Benji to attempt a back strike. He waited a few seconds and realized that it was trick and Benji circled around, he turned around and prepared again. Suddenly he was struck in the back as Benji played him out or was just stupid about it. However, he did knock George to the ground.
“Wow, that jump took a while. I needed to build up speed and it could have been less time if I cared a bit more about this battle.” Benji said as he played with his prey, getting it ready to be eaten. He wanted George to show his full power, what he was capable of doing.
“Oh, you think I’m not trying my best, well then we’ll see who will be okay after I let out my full power.” George said dropping some quips as he pushed Benji off his body and stood up. As he did his fur clumped up and started to form together. The floor started to shake as his body mass built up and his fur turned into a grey stone color.
“Ok, might not have expected this but I can deal with that.” Benji said as he backed up and looked as George turned into a massive stone beast. The floor started to shake as George must have weighed at least a half ton of weight. The rock beast laughed as he started to shake, pulling his leg up and walking towards a window.
Benji looked in amazement as George broke out of the building and walked out into the streets. The shark ran over to the edge and tried to figure out he had to do. Looking around he saw as George stared to crush citizens, the people running away like it was a shitty flash mob.
“Yeah that might seriously be a problem.” Koji said as he thought about the history books seriously changing and how there would be at least one page filled up with information on how a massive rock beast rampaged through Boston.
The shark jumped out of the hole and onto the next building gaining speed towards George as he followed the beast and made his way towards what would be downtown Boston. He continued hoping as he stood over George, figuring out the beast couldn’t go much quicker than car would go on that street.
Benji needed something to work something to plan and go with him. In his hand the steel shark masked formed as if responding to him and deciding he had nothing better to try, he placed it over his face. The energy coming over his body turned the mutated George towards him, the large rock like beast looking in fear as steel covered Benji’s body.
“Hey, guess who’s going to get you, this guy!” Benji said as he jumped of the building and down into the streets, his steel fins extending out of his body and shining in the bright sunlight of the midday. He knew he wouldn’t be able to slice through George’s body but he could trap him.
“You’re a hunter, I thought Greg said.” George said as he backed up, “He said, Greg said he was the last hunter and that he couldn’t make any more.” George backed up against a wall, putting his hands up as Benji realized that he had the rock beast afraid.
Then his HUD looking over the battle then told him to do something strange. Putting forward his hand’s, suddenly ten lines of light shot out and encompassed the rock beast and he shivered within his stone. Walking forward, the lines of light became closer together and then Benji jumped up onto the stone man’s body, attaching his hand’s to the stone man’s face.
“No, No, I am the fire and heat of man, so long as I burn within the vanity of man I will survive you cannot kill me!” The mask cried out as Benji’s hand stuck to the face of the rock beast and he started to pull. The mask cracked as the stone on his body cracked and Benji got an idea of what he was doing, all he needed was to ask one last question.
“Now then, where are you going to meet Greg tonight?” Benji asked as he stopped pulling for a second, deciding to let the demon relish in pain as it thought there was hope for mercy and perhaps answer. The mask shifted as it tried to show emotion.
“We are meeting in warehouse 13, by the abounded docks next night in the modern world.” George said as Benji smiled getting the information that he needed. Deciding to give the demon one last go, he pushed the mask all the way forward both knowing what would happen. He pulled back breaking the mask’s hold over the man and shattering the stone.
“Now then to next night.” Benji said as he realized that he would have to wait a whole day until he could get his revenge. And he did, arriving at warehouse thirteen right at nightfall, staying hidden on top of the roofs as he viewed Greg enter.
…
“Now then Greg, I’m here.” Benji said as he pulled open the warehouse doors expecting for Greg to already have seen him and have a gun pointed to his head, however the lizard looked pleasantly surprised. Benji kept himself shielded in the night time mist, standing a few feet above the ground.
“Good you’re alive again.” Greg said as he waited for Benji to enter, so he could continue their game of life and death just a bit further. However, as Benji approached the look on Greg’s face slowly disappeared and would be replaced by fear. Entering the warehouse, a large military cannon was pointed at Greg’s face, keeping him at bay.
“Now then I believe this is what they call checkmate.” Benji said as he smiled; hitting a button and firing the cannon. The warehouse exploded as Greg’s was dissolved by the artillery shell, becoming nothing more than a simple stain on the floor. Benji, knocked back by the explosion looked at fiery remains of the warehouse complex; the tank disappeared as his powers faded.
“That should keep him dead for like a month.” Koji said as he decided it would be better to disappear for a while.
…
“So how was the first day on the job?” Lucifer asked as he viewed out of a window, with Greg dead for a while everything looked well and for once hell looked a little less hellish. Fires were calmed down and the lawyers seemed like they were more willing to sue the robbers than bash their heads open.
“Pretty good, though it was two days you might want to know that when you calculate my payroll.” Benji said as he twitted his fingers and looked around the office. “How many more demons can escape and how many does Greg want, when he reforms how many will be in his army.”
“He’s trying to raise an army of hell; he’ll probably take a tiny out to build up more solders. If you have an army of the dead how best to add to it, so he’ll just kill everyone and then rebel against me in his own personal war. So when he comes back you should probably has a good set of masks. However for the most he can take out, it could be a thousand demons all depends on how much chaos he wants to cause, so for now build up an army get some people to help you but don’t feel overwhelmed.” Lucifer said as he gave and gathered information to and from Benji.
“Well wish me luck.”
...
“News travels fast, not as fast as light the ultimate constant of the universe; but a bit faster than Chlamydia at a high school party. However the news Benji made, travels the fastest. The kind of news where no one can exactly picture what happened or why it happened. A tank appearing on a warehouse and it exploding leaving a 50-meter radius charred, was especially the kind of news that people would love to exploit.
…
“As it appears a warehouse in southern Boston has randomly exploded today, more news, news, news, tonight at eleven” A newscaster reading the prompt in the commercials leading up to a newscast. Elliot groaned as she realized that it was obviously Benji who created the explosion.
“I’m sorry Benji, I might be able to hold the outsiders off of you, but you’ve just become big, I hope you look out for yourself now.” She said as she looked around and brought up a list of all fighting fractions, trying to see where Benji would fit himself into the group.
“Good luck young shark, hopefully you can figure this all out.” She said wishing the shark luck as she knew exactly where he would go, a border between the good and the bad. He could be someone who could go between both worlds and fit in, someone who could bring down either side of the system. One day Benji would have to make a choice and he could go to good or evil, black or white, he couldn’t stay grey forever.
…
“Well, it seems that someone else has come into the public light.” A leader said as he viewed the screen. “You need to find him; we could use someone like him. Teach him and let him teach us. You never know, BOO could use someone like him.”
…
“Well, well, well, looks like there is going to be another pesky shark to deal with this time around, I hope he doesn’t have a boyfriend.” A shark said chuckling as he viewed the TV from his tiny room, viewing the captured footage of Benji being played that people would surely view millions of times.
The shark giggled knowing that surely he might be able to get back to his original universe and get his final revenge on the sharks he knew as Koji and Twilight. While not the Bright you know, this one is all the same, expect he was blown into a different universe, perhaps a focal point.
“Bright knows, Bright remembers.” The shark said as he looked over and saw the last vital he had, a simple green liquid he was just waiting for the perfect moment to deploy.
…
“Interesting sir, it appears that a rock beast and a metallic shark have dueled in the street. As it appears the shark has the ability to make futuristic weapons or something. All these strange events must be the devil’s work, don’t you think so sir?” A police constable said as he read the news, waiting for a telegraph to come in with news of a crime. The system the government installed made policing so much more simple, the government said it might even be possible to contact by voice in 25 years or so.
“It’s truly the devil’s work, perhaps it is time that we do gods work. Did anyone take a temporal snap of the shark?” The priest, giving last rights to a prisoner said as he looked around trying to find files on the demonic incident. While the outsiders and the devil might have thought the people of revolution were dumb enough to ignore the incidents, some still noticed.
“Absalom, don’t get yourself worked into another tizzy.” The constable said as he got himself ready for the priest to go crazy.
…
“Interesting; this is very, very interesting, well then, well, then. Find me this shark; he looks like quite the appetizer.” A simple human said as he sat down in his chair, licking his lips.
