It's remarkable just how much Desmond looks like Simon. I'm guessing Simon is his older brother, given that he's larger and his horns are longer, though, if they're both fully grown, it could be that Desmond just happens to be a smaller dragon. Also, that could explain if they were twins or from the same clutch. Hmm. Well, if Desmond still has some growing to do, Chani has even MORE to look forward to. ;)

Yup Simon is his older brother, but he also has a naturally larger frame than Desmond. Desmond's kinda the runt of the family and is already fully grown, he takes after his mother in appearance (Simon looks almost exactly like his father).

Will we ever see the full family together?

I don't want to give anything away but you will meet other members of Desmond's family.
