Whenever someone makes fun of furries, I just start naming childhood cartoons and video games like Micky mouse. That normally gets them to re think their insults.

yea ppl's acceptance of gays has increased dramatically in the span of few years(hell im in the middle of kentucky in the boonies and i barely got any shit when i came out) but yea i never thought of doing that nice idea i may have to try it if ever found out :D. but than again it wouldn't work on ppl with absolutely no sense that would just deny cause they would just deny ever watching anything like that. What do u do with ppl like that?

One, if they have never watched Micky mouse, loony toons eta... they had no childhood <w> Two, I know I'm pretty good at deflecting insults now but I always took a live and let live response to most thing. Just tell them they have their own options and walk away. Don't give them a chance to talk back and if they do, smile and ignore them. They'll learn.

lol true so very true XD my poison was Pokemon and Scooby Doo;very rarely did i have a chance to watch loony toons and mickey mouse. im usually the same way until its my friends or family dat gets insulted than its a big problem for the other guy >:3. thanks the advice and the convo :D
