Joshlafina side safe
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
In this drawing, I wanted to try something with Joshlafina that I thought would be interesting. I colored her blue as her regular fur tone. Then I had an idea to make it seem like she was angry by adding some red to the fur color and having her eyes red as well. I think I remember myself thinking that this was an alternate look into Joshlafina's personality. It was very fun to draw. The feminine curves look good in this drawing. What little you see of the arms, is drawn very well. The legs and the feet, I had some trouble with. Drawing her muzzle was a little bit on the hard side. The easiest thing about this drawing was the breasts.
I did 4 drawings in my sketchbook 4 today, so you get 2 from me and so will deviantart. On my newest drawings so far, I started doing the Andrew Loomis book. I'm currently drawing the ideal female form. It took me 3 tries. Not because I skipped steps. I followed the advice from a friend to do the foundation sketches to help with the drawing. I had to do the front profile 3 times, because 2 of the drawings wound up having a mistake that needed to be fixed. Don't get me wrong, the two mistake ridden drawings were good, I followed the foundation sketches. Its just that there was a mistake in it that required me to do 3 iterations of 1 drawing. Then in the 4th drawing, I did a redo of an older drawing - both in sketchbook 4. The original version was freehand, it deserved a face-lift. Like the original, it will have multiple versions, with the original sketch being a bookmark for the alternate versions. I won't able be to do it until I have access to my scanner and printer. I did a small change to the tail in my WIP furry drawing yesterday. I should be able to scan these drawings in the near future. One more thing, I also added a little bit more to the short story that will accompany my WIP furry drawing. The foundation sketches are really helpful to me as an artist. 2 of 2. I love to draw the female form. I hope you continue to support me in my hopes and dreams to become a better artist.
