I love this picture. Knowing the backstory makes me sad, but the sorrow takes nothing away from the tenderness of this image. Beautiful art as ever, Besonik.

Thank you Josh, the second part was quite hard to figure out what to focus on but I feel Vayle and his parents and new nether dragon was the right choice.

I am amazed at how well you caught their emotions in their facial expressions. Over the months we grew quite attached to these characters and I hope it will show in the sequels just as well as it shows in your drawing here alone.

Maybe looking back when the entire project is finished, then we will find that this was one of the hardest, if not the hardest part to write and draw. It is a milestone reached. Great job, Bes =)

I believe you're right KiDra, this feels like it was the hardest part. And it goes without saying how attached to the characters we are now.

Having read the story behind this pic, I am both lightened and saddened by the emotions here in. Please keep up the good work Bes. Some day I hope to be as selfless as your characters.
