Broadside by Furyman
One of about a dozen pieces of gift art done for me by a fatfur artist named Furyman about... four or five years ago now? He was a great guy, took a real liking to Silicon City, but left the fandom completely shortly after drawing this character. His FA account hasn't been active in ages...
Broadside was something of a joke character for Silicon City, mostly because in a growing roster of pear-shaped BBW superheroines, having a pear-shaped BBW superheroine with a powerset that revolved around her figure was a bit redundant. Born into a very wealthy family, Broadside was a latent mutant who decided to apply her admittedly limited powers of expansion and rubbery elasticity in the fight for justice if for no other reason then because it was something to do other then flaunting her figure at the hottest nightclubs. A bit of a thrillseeker out for adventure, she tends to annoy more dedicated/serious heroes.
