Once the final effects of Keith's transformation had come to an end both Max and Keith worked to find a rhythm between themselves, Keith's job, and the needs of the pokemon within both of their care, which allowed them to restructure and reorganize their lives into some semblance of balance. Thankfully, it was easy enough for Keith to 'go with the flow' of things as the gym leader was able to convince most people, both in the city and the trainers who came to his gym, that he was wearing a very realistic eevee suit whenever he encountered them. Most were fooled by his baby doll eyes whenever he spoke with them in earnest over his sudden decision to become a pokemon mascot and those others who weren't, well, they generally kept their mouths closed over the subject or found some other topic of discussion to chat on, usually very quickly whenever Max was around.

Keith was quite sure that the taller male either gave those who wanted to make an unwanted quip a look or a gesture that silenced them, however the anthro eevee didn't really see a need to say anything on the subject, after all, that was his alpha's...boyfriend's right.

Regardless, in the weeks to follow the the transformed human found that was life was really no different than before, with the exception of being able to understand his pack mates...pokemon on a verbal level now, and so, just as with any day prior to his change, he set about relaxing with each and every last one of his eeveelution, giving each of them the time they needed to bond as both trainer and friend.

In this little moment, Vapor, the vaporeon, and Keith were busy sharing a quiet moment in a warm bath together. The anthro eevee, knowing of the bubble jet pokemon's love for bubbles, was blowing them all across the room, exciting the water type to no end.
