Glowbugs
This is animated (text only), but very slow. That is intentional. The scene is not one for rushed conversations. I'm fully aware many people will just see a little Prequel fanart and move on. That's okay. But if you wait long enough, you get a cute little vignette. If both characters have left the scene, your watch is ended and you may move along with confidence that you've seen it all.
Anyway, a very different style for me, I know. But I came up with the idea a few days ago while walking my dog by a field full of fireflies blinking in the dusk. It's also 100% my own drawing from scratch. The sky obviously I'm very proud of. I was thinking of doing grass, then having the grass move and the fireflies blink - but animation is hard and things were getting out of control, so I didn't do those things. Still think it's pretty cute for what it is.
Katia and Dodger totally should have met when they were younger. Still would have been an age difference, but it still would have been Daww-enducing.
