When Silver was a lad (and still using his real name) he and his father would celebrate their mutual birthdays by going to see a movie. Up until he was 10 it was usually something by Disney, but on his 11th birthday his dad took him to see a re-release of something that was probably inappropriate for a kit that young. The die was cast that though, and by the time he was twelve Silver had read all the Bond novels and seen all the movies already released and knew what he wanted to do when he grew up.

Here we see the future head agent of F.O.X. imitating the famous Bond pose. Since 12 year-olds can't get guns in Canada (not pistols in any event) Silver had to make do with his trusty slingshot.
