When I was very young, I had the most awesome pair of bluejeans with brightly colored flowers embroidered on the cuffs. I wore those things everywhere, until I got too big for them, and I've still got them tucked away in a drawer somewhere. They were hand-me-downs from an older cousin, so they were badly out of date even in 1985. They were probably a big part of why I got the shit kicked out of me on a daily basis at that age, too, but they were worth it.
