Here it is. My own submission for the SoFurry music contest. My favorite song from Tetris has always been the "C" theme from the Game Boy version- which itself was pulled from a song from JS Bach. Sadly, it was never remade for any of the later versions.

There are a couple things to be noted about this entry that make it different from the others. This is a live performance- just me and my two hands. I wanted to get away from the fast classical stately feel of the original and mellow it out a bit, and give it a dose of my own improvisational sound, make it a bit more organic. I think I succeeded on that count.

This is also the result of me ingraining this theme into my head over the course of a month such that my mind knew where to go. I can't read music except by writing each letter name out and plinking it into a piano until I can follow along.

I would like to thank SoFurry for having this contest to force me to try something different- and the result I think is well worth the effort, whether I win or lose. This was a personal contest for me, wanting to put something up there that was not computer generated or program generated.

Incidentally- the song lasts 4:44. A total chance shot, but hey, Tetris is all about the 4. :) Perhaps a good omen.
