Creation of Spottacus (WIP, by Teiirka)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Original work in progress. Colored pencil on paper.
Done in the style of classical art, this colored pencil drawing by Teiirka is of a grand scale, similar to the work that inspired it. The complete sketch will include an anthro take on the entire original work.
Teiirka is an under-appreciated talent. His work has stunning detail, great form, beautiful execution. His work can be found here: www.teiirka.deviantart.com .

Leonardo didn't paint it... Michelangelo did.
Also: do you have a deviantart account?
My only problem with this picture is that I'm not sure I like that God has A PAW...
I'm glad you brought up the pawed diety. We do indeed well understand the myriad of sensitivities touched by of portraying a deity. In the end, this was an art piece in the style of Sistine Chapel, but not meant to replace the original as a religious iconography, nor to make any religious commentary. Therefore, ... as the biblical entry is that (hu)man was created in a deity's image, and this sketch was created in the anthro cat world, the artistically consistent approach was to create an anthro cat in the image of an anthro creator. Hope that helps.
