\n I Remember, and Mourn

\n I remember that day:

\n The twin pillars ablaze like so many of the watching souls;

\n Adults weeping from devastation and loss;

\n Children weeping from pure devastation and violence;

\n So many lost because of just a few, and even more saved by less.

\n I mourn for those lost:

\n In the day in which the cold sun shone;

\n For those who died to save others, and those who fell in the burning darkness;

\n For those who turned their back on the world in sadness, fright and anger;

\n In the fight for that which is right that still burns today.

\n I pray for those who died in sacrifice for this cause, God have mercy.
