Chapter Seven: Empire of no Nations, Part One

Isaac looked forward and saw a target standing before him, in front of the dark void the shark walked forward adjusting his longcoat. Holding his hand out, it appeared out of the blue. The target for him was ending the war but in front of him jutting out of the flat darkened ground, multiple distractions appeared for him.

Annoying distractions kept distracting as they implied, and Isaac felt himself being pained by them. Each of them like a road block and as much as he wished that he could drive around, it was impossible for him to do such a thing. Isaac took a breath and looked at the world in front of him, nearly burning. The distractions lined up for him to see.

The Kagens first, Isaac kicked his foot out and smashed the pillar into pieces jumping forward and holding his hand up as the wooden pole with Twilight’s face glued to it was knocked to the ground. Isaac walked forward and saw the face of Basil’s clan, the Riftwalkers. Isaac held his hand forward and the pillar crumbled under his pressure.

The next face was a familiar one, the face of his love. Finn Harris, Isaac smartly pushed that to the side and walked forward. The shark had his goal, the target was a viable option, all he had to do was touch it and the war would be over. Finn and him free from the horrors of war and the entire world freed from the reign of the two immortal clans.

Isaac jumped forward and as he extended his hand, knowing the slightest touch would complete his mission. And as his fingers were in atoms of the target, so many more pillars jutted out of the ground. First off was the smiling smug idiotic look of his father, Forester O’Neill, a man he hated most dearly.

The shark kicked forward and walked ahead, the nanobots were swarming and Isaac smiled. The shark had a way to knock out so many more stones, holding his hand back, his father’s pillar reappeared as an obstacle and next to the nanobots. This time Isaac slapped both of his hands forward, both pillars crumbling into the ground.

“The nanobots have been a problem through this entire war, changing the course of battles and the entire history of this world. If I can get rid of them I should because I know that they are a threat to me.” Isaac looked forward and rising out of the ground, swirling out of black nanodots, the smiling morphing face of Joss.’

“Joss, before you went evil, and you dated Erick, you might have been considered a friend if for a very brief period, but consider your eviction notice from this world served up because I know your kind.” Isaac looked forward and saw his target fly further and further away.

The shark jumped up into the air and kicked his foot of Joss’s pillar, crumbling it with his very footstep. He flew forward and in perfect arrangement fired blasts of gravity knocking down all the pillars as the target came closer. And Isaac held his hand out as it approached, and the shark hoped and dreamed for such a moment.

And then he touched the edge of the target, his hand passing through it and the black void around him crumbling. The shark opened his eyes and his nose smelt the smell that could only come with three sharks stuck in one location. The engine of course distracted from that sense.

Isaac looked up as he opened his eyes and saw the road in front of them, or what was left. Finn carefully applied the gas of the car as he drove around a massive crater in the ground. Isaac looked back and saw the disapproval on the look of his father’s face.

“Son I understand you can’t do much in this situation but you can at least muster up the strength to keep your eyes open, do realize we are fighting the same threat that killed your town.” Isaac heard from behind him, looking back and with his hand on the seat he saw the stoic look from his father, wearing his black jacket and suit, a gun in his hand.

“Do nothing?” Finn whispered and Isaac looked over, Finn shifted the car as he got back onto the empty interstate. The winds of change were blowing around them, fallen leaves blowing over the road. Around them crumbling buildings and fires blazing up from the sky. Surely on the ground level of the streets people would be running but up in the sky, the Outsiders were safe.

Or Isaac should have corrected himself, the Outsider escorting a nanobot target who had valuable information and was wanted by them and his son. Finn realized very quickly that Forester was unaware of his child’s transgressions in the superpower department while he was away from the city.

“Yes, and you up there. Keep quiet and keep your eyes on the road, not my child, the only reason you are here is because of your blood, the other soldiers would have been acceptable if only there were a shark, so keep your eyes off my son and your superpowered breath away from him.” Forester snapped at Finn who kept the same compliant smile on his face.

“I love you Isaac, could you make this last forever?” Finn’s mind flashed with moments of the moon on the rooftop. Their lips touching and kissing, bodies touching, mind fusing.

Finn realized that Forester was also unaware of his child’s transgressions in the sexuality department. Isaac nearly opened his mouth and spoke with his usual snark. And yet Isaac backed off and looked apologetic towards the shark.

“Why yes sir, I’ll keep everything I have away from your son.” Finn spoke with malice in his voice and looked back into the mirror. The shark with his black jacket and smug look got under his skin, it shouldn’t have bothered him. Not only was Isaac’s father completely against sexual freedom and superpowers, but he was also unknown of his child’s additions to said genres.

“And why sir do you think that the other soldiers wouldn’t be useful, couldn’t a trunk full of soldiers be far more useful than someone like me.” Finn spoke, hiding the sarcasm in his voice as he heard Isaac silently groan and lean back in his seat.

“Well Isaac I didn’t know that you were put into a refugee camp with such stupid protectors.”

“I didn’t have much choice.” Isaac slid back on the seat, a complete slave to his father’s opinions and his knowledge. If he had to hide himself as a pawn until he was inside the nanobot base then it would be the more acceptable. Isaac would just have to deal with it.

“Well you see you know this thing called the food chain, most schools taught it before they turned into vegan pansies and you see in most diagrams we are traditionally at the top. I see no reason to stop that, and look down on my own prey.” Forester spoke and Finn kept his anger internalized, looking over to Isaac the shark just subtly shook his head.

“See and there go again, putting eyes on my son. He’s not interested in any man, trust me on that one. Us O’Neill’s have powerful blood and can resist the pheromones of beasts like you.” Forester spoke, not knowing the irony of the whole situation. Finn could only guess that the man was acting in such a way to compensate for something that his shark genes granted Isaac but not him. And it was sad, because Finn knew he would only be one step away from racist, sexist, idiotic trash.

But he would make sure just to send the nicest wedding invitation to the idiot and make sure that he knew everything. All the little details, the gravity powers and everything that Isaac wanted to hide from his father all released into a can of worms.

“Now then if you are so capable, I swear our race is getting more bogged down by idiots each day, make the turn off here and into the bay.” Forester spoke and Isaac tried to hide his look of embracement, the shark was unable to do so. Finn simply turned the wheel and the car gently exited the crumbling interstate.

“Good thing this city is destoryed, all the idiotic and horrid people in this city should have been destroyed a thousand years ago with Sodom.” Forester looked out of the window and Finn added another con to that one step list, believed in an idiotic book that probably wasn’t even close to the truth.

As Finn saw the water of San Diego through his blue eyes, driving off the abandoned exit and onto a street. On the collapsed road, signs idly hung from store fronts and the street lights flashed all of their lights as Finn drove past them. And then as he turned a street, the shark saw what could not be described in word.

A massive citadel out in the water of the bay, boats in the bay floating on the water. The structure was massive and metallic and shined in the sun as it rose up to the sky. Finn watched as he parked the car and looked forward out in the bay, the structure was definitely nanobot in origin.

“This is Trident’s Bay, and this is the place where humanity will win over the Kagens and Riftwalkers, consider this a treaty.” Forester spoke as he left the car and walked forward, snapping his fingers the shark disappeared in a flash of white light, Isaac and Finn finding themselves caught in the teleportation.

Iren looked forward at the forest, below her down the cliff Kagens were marching forward. She looked over to Tidus and Barry, the two of them nodding as the Outsiders prepared. And then the two nodded, a spark of electricity sparking out the shark and a blade of metal forming on the Komodo Dragon.

Iren nodded and her eyes glowed purple as she walked forward and held her hands forward, the two of them kept silent as they ran forward and prepared for battle with the Kagens. Iren jumped forward and landed in the valley, dust flying up around her body as she turned her glowing hand towards the Kagens.

“So then think you’re ready for a war because the Outsiders have got you covered on this day.” Iren idly threatened as she held her hand up and looked at the ground. As Barry and Tidus joined her, the Kagens found reason to take a few steps back.

“That’s right but trust me we wouldn’t have just flanked you for no reason because this is hell for me as well, do you think I want to fight the boring Kagens all day. I would rather fight some Riftwalkers at least they know how to fight better than you fools do.” Iren looked forward and the Kagens took the bait, walking forward. “

“Oh really are we just going to let her talk to us like that Kagens because I don’t think we will!” A Kagen shouted out from the crowd as he ran forward, Iren watched as he jumped forward. She simply jumped up and spun her foot, kicking him out and watching the wolf being slammed into the ground.

Iren walked forward and struck a Kagen as she did, grabbing him in the air with her powers and holding him up. She smiled and watched as he struggled, fire erupted from the fists of the lizard and he stuck forward. The tiger’s powers broke and he flew forward, flaming with energy as he did.

Tidus jumped forward and stuck him with electricity, slamming him to the ground before he could even strike. Iren looked back and saw the Komodo Dragon waiting for the moment he was needed. She nodded at him and the nanobot warrior ran forward.

Iren held her hand up and grabbed a rock from the cliff above her, holding it still she looked down at the Kagens as they shook adorably. Holding her hand up with energy and the rock as well, she turned her hand over the group. She stuck it down and got a good chunk of the Kagens, she watched as orange energy flew into the air. But then a shark stuck a fist on her.

The tiger was unprepared, she spat out blood as she landed on the ground only catching herself on her fist. Standing up and wiping the spat of blood onto the ground, Iren looked forward at the black shark in the Kagen armor.

“Wow then that is the first time someone has managed to get me like that, what is your name Kagen?” Iren asked as she held her hand out and energy reappeared summoning into her hand and glowing around it. The shark held his hand out and moved with speed again, Iren prepared felt her entire body stuck in the stomach.

The tiger felt moved back and tried to keep her ground, running forward with a strike this time the shark disappeared before she could even strike. Iren opened her mouth in surprised and gasped as a fist stuck into her back. The Outsider fell to the ground as she yelled out in pain.

“Let me tell you because you Outsiders don’t seem to learn where your part is, I am Eclipse and I am tired of you mortals interfering with our world and our customs, I want you out of this planet and I want you dead for all I care.” The Kagen pushed down and Iren felt the pain on her back.

Iren felt her back crack as the Kagen pushed down his foot, she looked up and saw the cliff. Holding out her hand all she had to do was dislodge one bolder and the Kagen would be dealt with. She tried her best and she felt the ground rumble, looking back up.

Iren felt the pressure on her back relieved. Quickly she dislodged herself as she saw the Kagen standing there with a confused look on his face. Iren realized she stuck his black hair with a rock, he was distracted. Iren took the moment and ran forward striking him in the face.

Iren pushed forward with her fist and the Kagen glowed as he disappeared into air again. Iren turned herself around and raised her fist, the ground shaking as she raised little Rifts in the ground. This time the Kagen appeared and skid into the ground, Iren watched as he landed pushing himself back up and disappearing again. Iren held her self still and then saw the brief dust cloud on the mountain.

The Outsider raised her hand just in time and grabbed the fisted hand, the Kagen stood their afraid as Iren held his hand up to him. Her hands flowing and she held him up into the air. And then Eclipse screamed out, not in pain but gathering power. As he did, a swirling void of energy blasted out.

Iren saw the game he was playing and grappled his other hand, the two on the ground even. Her eyes glowed purple again and her hands flowed suit, the grass around them starting to sway. An aura appeared, surging up around the two, a purple tint around Iren and a black tint on Eclipse.

The ground around them shook and Iren pushed forward, dragging her foot through the air. She pushed forward and the Kagen nearly tripped, sparks forming in the air. Until the sound of marching grabbed her attention, the marching of another ground.

The two had to finish, both screamed out. Shark and Tiger hand in hand, both of them pushing forward as the grass swirled around in a circle. Twisting around and flying up, the ground shaking. And then contact was broken, both slid back on the ground both even and facing each other. The Kagen shook for a moment and then settled down, Iren looked over another group of people were approaching.

“Sorry looks like the Riftwalkers have arrived and I don’t think you want to face both of us at the same time, I don’t think anyone does.” Eclipse threatened with as he pulled his hand out of Iren’s grip. Looking to the fog down the valley, black warriors dressed in armor walked forward.

“Guys move out of here!” Iren yelled as she looked over and saw Barry standing over a set of orange Kagens. The regeneration filled the air as Barry ran up the cliff, his fingers turning into grippers. Tidus jumped up into the air and shinesparked over the cliff.

“Well then Iren it’s your turn to go as well, but I think I’ll keep you here for the battle as well.” Eclipse spoke as he disappeared once again. Iren kicked her foot out and this time the Kagen tripped, Iren pulling her foot back as she laughed. She didn’t need to see the Kagen to imagine him wiping out.

Iren walked forward, her steps on psychic barriers as she gracefully lifted up onto the air and over the cliff edge. She nodded at the other two and ran forward into the day past trees blowing with wind, knowing that they had kept the Kagens from gaining more ground into the mountains.

As Iren landed back at the back, she walked in knowing that due to their efforts the group had been kept even between the two groups. Opening the door, the wind blew in with her and she smiled. A portal in the main cafeteria, the blue energy reflecting off the wall.

“Well then looks like Basil and Bright are back, let’s see if they found anything useful or just fucked the entire time. You two get cleaned up, I’ll manage them for now.” Iren stepped forward and looked at the two behind her, both nodding and walking for the shower.

“Yes mom, thank you for the good work today.” Tidus spoke as he disappeared behind the steamy door. Barry laughing and waving as he disappeared as well, Iren walked forward adjusting her jacket and getting everything into looking order as he awaited the two.

She passed a mirror and saw herself, her fur was dull and shaved down, a scar on her face had dyed the fur around it blood red. Eyebags were formed and sweat leached through her skin, she was exhausted for a reason but she had to keep fighting.

Walking into the cafeteria, Bright and Basil emerged out of the portal. A reflection of the two on the shining white floors, Iren looked around and a few people were gathered. Basil snapped his fingers and the portal closed, the Riftwalker opening his wings and fluttering down to the edge of the table, putting his boots down on the seat.

“Hey Basil feet off seat, ass off table, try figuring it out next time.” Iren yelled as the two as Basil jumped off and landed on the floor. Bright held in his hands a bag or two and looked at Iren. He had a disappointed smile on his face but it was one of exploration.

“So then what did you find for us?” Iren asked as she looked at the two wondering what they had found in the other worlds they visited. Surely she knew that there had to be some sort of superweapon that they could use, something that could change this war to their front.

“Well we learned more about each other and figured out how Kagen and Riftwalkers could live together in peace and harmony.” Bright added himself next to Basil as he snuggled himself into the wing of the Riftwalker.

“You two do realize when I asked you to explore the universe I didn’t exactly mean it like that.” Iren spoke and the two laughed. “You did find something you think could be useful here right?”

Basil laughed and flapped his wings, Basil walking over to a table as he held the bag in his hands.

“Well I remember on a desert world…”

Bright’s head poked over the horizon looking out, a desert hat on his head shading him from what his body didn’t protect him from. Basil walked with him until he found something shining in the ground, it was familiar, it seemed Kagen in origin.”

“Cut to the chase.” Iren told the two as Bright grabbed the bag and opened it, a tiny little bag that one could hang of their side and hold a few tiny items. As the Kagen held the bag open, little shining gems landed out on the table shining in the light.

“A Topaz, Quartz and a Bloodstone, all gems from a world where it shouldn’t be possible. I examined this and we might be able to extract power from it, I feel that the Dimensional Kagens on that universe from back in the day might have used these for powers, getting to it however is the catch.” Bright spoke as he grabbed the little blue gem and held it up to the light.

“However with these three and their energy that I feel just them together could possible make a great weapon against this war.” Basil held the three in his hand and felt the unfamiliar, familiar energy. Kagen energy was different, his felt more erratic and different, Kagens had an organization to their energy.

Iren smiled at the two imagine the battleaxe coming down on the Kagens, the sun shining in her teeth as she turned around. Walking forward the leader of the Outsider started to walk.

“You two get working on that or else no more exploration of the other kind.” Iren threatened the two and Basil smiled, putting the gems back into Basil’s bag. Iren walked forward wondering what had happened to Finn, Isaac and his father. The tiger opened a window and put her head out, feeling the wind blow through it.

She looked out to the south, wondering what was happening in San Diego, but she knew that Forester was an angry and horrid man. The Outsider could just feel it in the way he nearly tore apart their base, pointing out every design failure and everything that was wrong.

“Good luck Finn.” Iren wished the shark but she knew that might have been a bit too little for even the shark, if Isaac’s plan went as he did plan then the Sharks might have been in a bit too much trouble even for them.

But Iren did know looking out into the forest that the two were cleaver and that the two had ways with energy that she couldn’t figure out, if anyone was going to do it? She, Iren knew that it would those two. The Outsider could only hope that Forester didn’t hold them back, a blast of wind flowed through her hair.

“So then Outsiders consider this a bit of a trap, because I knew you were coming even before you were in the city.” Joss bragged as the shapeshifting nanobot warrior walked forward, Isaac looked up he was trapped in a massive room. His father kept in a cage, Finn and him barreled down to the ground with chains.

Isaac looked down on to the crimson stained ground, wondering how many people were converted in the room. The entire place stunk of steampunk value and Finn looked up seeing pipes at the thin top of the room. Metal lined the entire room and Joss smiled, his teleporter next to him. The device managing to grab the three.

“Well then here is the think, Isaac your father has a few bits of information that we want, like that we really really want. And you have a choice here, you give him to us and we give you at the base some help with the war and access to our system files, our you die here and we get your father.” Joss offered them, his face shifting, panels flipping his face into a familiar President as if he was offering them a bail out for their war. Isaac looked over to his father, who seemed violently opposed. Forester grabbed the bars and shook them.

“That is a lie you said that if I came here you would break out a deal to change everyone in the United States into a shark and have us all be equal, no superpowers, everyone the same!” Forester banged on his bars, Finn sighing as he adjusted his chains. Finn stood up, pulling the chains and standing up to the nanobot, his jacket being stretched as the chain pulled down.

“Well we had to get you here one way or another, and I figured I might as well just give our mission statement a drop. And either way having knowledge of where the United States government is, well its far more important.” Joss held his hand out to the cage, intimating the older shark, wrinkles in all.

“You see the nanobots want equality in terms of power, everyone controlled or possibly controlled by one person, yet free to do what they want. At least my fraction, no discrimination based on race or appearance. So, then Isaac tick tick on that choice.” Joss held his hand out and looked over to Finn, who stood their silent and obedient.

“Stop this, just let us go and Finn won’t have to kick your ass with his gravity powers and electric powers!” Isaac shouted up, getting the ire of his father as he screamed. Forester screamed in his cage, grabbing the nanobot bars and pushing them about, his jacket thrashing back.

“And where has your drive gone shark, has Forester drained it from with his shark nationalism and anti-super speech, shame about the irony their but I know when mums the word. Either way, I want to see the real you, and blasted if I can’t, so ten minutes in the prison yard to help you choose.” Joss snapped his fingers and Isaac felt himself teleporting away, Finn followed along, but he didn’t see his father come.

Isaac landed in the courtyard, gravel under his feet and found himself facing the two biggest eyes he had ever seen. Billy stood with disbelief in his eyes, the dragon instantly dropping his pickaxe and wrapping his arms around the two. Finn suddenly felt the arms and smiled as he saw Ross’s husband, the dragon standing there with a smile on his face. Finn looked around, they were in a prison yard, seemingly in the center of the citadel. In the center was the shaft, where Finn guessed that they were, and around them a well.

“You made it! You made it! Where’s Ross?” The blue dragon started to rush, he was filled with energy. Paleness fading from his scales, his body shaking.

“Hold on for just a second, look at this place Isaac. A prison courtyard, they must have taken everyone they got here.” The shark turned his head away from Ross for a second and analyzed the area around him.

The outer wall was made with plated nanobot metal and shined black, absorbing the light and shading the prison in darkness. It climbed up at least thirty meters into the sky, Isaac looked for a way out. Anything they could use, anything they could fight with. But it seemed beyond a few pieces of metal and the grass around their feet, they were alone.

“I never thought anyone would come and get me, I thought I would just be forgot about forever.” Billy looked at his heroes and the dour looks on the two Outsiders signaled him in to something wrong. “Come on, we can escape together and go back to Carson City.”

“Oh Billy, your enthusiasm is showing, and Ross misses you dearly but Carson City sort of doesn’t exist anymore.” Finn looked forward. “Ross didn’t know where you were until now, but we can get you out of here I promise, but Joss will teleport us back any second now and I don’t know.”

“Joss said he won’t change me because of my perceived value to you guys. I’ve been alone here for a long time, sometimes people appear but Joss takes them away to be experimented on and they don’t come back.” Billy spoke with sadness in his voice, Finn reached forward and hugged the dragon.

“So then let’s think Joss is offering us you, in exchange for Forester, I personally think it is the obvious choice. But Isaac it is all up to you.” Finn smiled as he glanced over to the shark, just holding that bit of a grudge. In the whole of things saving Billy would be more useful than a xenophobic, useless, overly-critical shark.

“Oh come on, you can’t… But, he’s my father… He’s says mean things but… He’s still my blood.” Isaac looked at a Finn and grabbing his wrist pulled him in close, leaning his head down. “We can save both.”

“Obviously, but you have no balls around your father. And maybe you will be able to understand better but if we can save both then we will but that man doesn’t really help me sleep at night, especially when he doesn’t want me in the same bed as you.” Finn felt a spark in his hand and held up his hand, a white glow engulfing the three of them.

“So then was this your plan Outsiders, I sent your father away for a few seconds just to make sure he is what we are looking for. You can have Ross if you agree to one thing, allow me to make a clone of you Finn?” Joss spoke and Finn opened his eyes, his body knocked to the floor, bright lights surrounding them.

Finn leaned down on the floor and covered his eyes as he pushed himself up and turned his head. The shifting dragon stood there with his hands stretched out, as Finn twisted his body around the shark processed what he heard. And then he realized the future in which that would happen, he was cloned once and surely with nanobots a cloned Finn would be stronger.

“No, you can’t clone me I am one of kind despite evidence otherwise. You might have killed me once but I will stand on this Earth and protect it. You might not be as evil as with your previous master, quite dedicated to keeping alone if I say so myself, but you can’t have that power.” Finn argued at the dragon as Joss raised his eyebrow wondering why the outsider was rejecting his offer, his shoulders raising and a confused sound coming out of his mouth.

“Fine then but you will never escape and I suppose I could just take the DNA from you myself then.” Joss threw his hand forward, and Finn heard shifting noises from behind him. Jumping up the shark looked down and a pillar of nanobots stretched out from the wall, the Outsider landed on it and raised his hand, sparks flying out.

“Finn disable them!” Isaac yelled as he opened his hands and jumped up as well floating as he looked for a way to grab Ross. Finn touched his hand to the pillar and it collapsed, the nanobots falling apart and landing on the ground. The shark held his hand out and ran forward.

“Hey Joss where the hell did you put Joss anyway?” Isaac looked around as Finn sparked forward, the dragon was nowhere to be found. Joss smiled and held out his hand as Finn raised his hand to punch, his body simply bended around the shark. Finn cursed jumping up and landing on the wall, jumping off and flying over Joss again.

“Oh you really would like to know that wouldn’t you but I think you would be more interested in fighting some of my warriors.” Joss stepped back and touched the wall, his nanobots turning black and his body sinking into it like a liquid. From the floor, black circles appeared and Finn stepped back as hand shot up, covered in nanobots.

“They’re everywhere, he can just generate more and more; Isaac we need an escape plan and a good one now!” Finn yelled as he held his hands forward and crashed into the forming body of the warrior. The warrior crashed a hand reaching out and grabbing Finn, the shark lost his balance and tripped.

The shark put his hand down and slid on the floor, running his feet forward and catching himself as he jumped up into the air. Finn focused the energy in his foot and stuck down onto the black circles, striking them and letting them delocalize.

Isaac held his hand out and squeezed his fingers together, anti-gravity was easy for him in the end. Nanobot warriors sprung out of the ground, some generation one and others generation two, the green and yellow warriors walking forward.

But Isaac trained and knew how to face them now, with a flick of his fingers inside of them a piercing blast of gravity outwards blasted them into separate parts again. Isaac smiled as he handled the warriors, backing up as more and more formed below him.

Isaac stuck his hands out and pushed down, a massive layer of gravity pulling everyone but him down. Finn stuck the floor, but Isaac pushed down, pillars and arms of nanobots fighting against the gravity as the climbed on each other. And then crumbling like sandcastles, the floor turned to normal.

Isaac smiled as he walked over to Finn and the two stood back to back, holding their hands out and preparing for the next fight.

“So then what next, dearest?” Isaac asked as he looked up.

“Same as always, I fight, you flirt and we find Billy, escape and maybe kick the ass of Joss.” Finn leaned back and kissed Isaac on the check, the two of them standing still. And then the wall morphed again, this time as Joss walked out he had his hand raised high. “Oh shit.”

“Well then isn’t that a surprise Mr. O’Neill, and you thought your child was a normal straight unsupered shark, shame he turned out the opposite.” Joss spoke as he formed the cage out of the wall, the shark standing there, hands on bar and an angry grin on his face.

“Ah I can explain this one, I think.” Isaac defensively raised his hands, dust being pushed up from his hands. The shark quickly put his hands to his side and stood still trying to act innocent.

“So then this is what a raised, a horrifying fag of a genetic monster, I trusted you son and you and your mother let me down, I should have never replaced your leg and I should have let both die.” Forester spoke as Isaac stood there, his confidence destroyed.

“Back into the prison. As for you two, if you want Billy.” Joss spoke as he pushed the shark back into the wall, Isaac feeling half relieved and loosing up as Finn put his hand on the shark’s shoulder. The two stood there and then in a white light the innocent Dragon appeared before them. “But if I can’t have Finn, well there is a catch.”

“You’re fucking kidding me right, like really kidding me. You want me to believe that you have Octavius and Ignatius in that room and their talking?” Iren looked over to Bright with that smug smile on his face as he looked over to Basil and the two nodded, she felt ecstatic, this was their chance to take everything back. And then a frown fell on her face.

“And do you know how much danger you put us in, both sides will be coming for us and we’ll be dead if they get here before peace is reached.” Iren quickly reached down and grabbed a walkie-talkie, Basil looking over to Bright and the two nodding.

“Barry patrol the forest and the skies, Ross sharpen your blades and get soldiers out on the machine rifles, this is a possible Class 0 Situation.” Iren calmly spoke into the device, the base didn’t take it as well. Quickly noise broke out and chaos in the upper floors as people ran around.

Bright adjusted his shirt and Basil tried to hide his smile as he folded up his wings, the shark walked over to the chair and sat down, looking over to the room where it happened. Either the two were murdering each other or they were realizing their races had more in common than before.

“I also swear to god if you used the idea that you two can get alone because of what you two do at night, well get back in there.” Iren raised her hand to the two who quickly nodded and ran back to the door, opening and rushing in. The tiger held her self still for a few seconds.

“How the hell did they even do that?” Iren imagined the possibilities for a second and wondered what must have happened for the two to be together in the same room after so long. “Did they teleport into the bases and kidnap the two leaders?”

“Iren this is Barry.” Iren grabbed the box and held it up to face as she looked down and then over to the sun, wondering how much could happen before this all went wrong.

“Go for me, what are you seeing?” Iren spoke and there was radio silence for a few seconds. In those few seconds anything could have happened and she stood still wondering what the hell the nanobot warrior would say to her and how much it would ruin everything.

“Well, it looks on both sides of the base we have an advancing army. From the north, the Riftwalkers are approaching and from the south the Kagens are advancing on us as well, delightful, isn’t it?” Barry spoke and Iren froze in place, her heart started to face, she grabbed her jacket and zippered it up. A horrifying tune in her head as the idea of her base being surrounded filled her head.

“Barry are you sure about this?” Iren asked and the Komodo Dragon laughed, on the other end of the walkie he flapped his wings as he kept himself a half of mile in the air or so. A fire burned around the base and behind that, tearing through the mountains was the Riftwalkers.

The Kagens were harder to see but as they advanced every so often blasts flew into the sky and to estimate how many their were, was a task for a real robot. The Komodo Dragon turned back and started to fly back down, if he was right and he hoped he wasn’t well he would want to be there.

Iren froze as she heard silence, she had only one way to confirm this and turned around, barging into the conferences room. And for once it seemed that the two were right, Basil and Bright stood on opposite sides of the room, while Ignatius and Octavius sat their peacefully, a few awkward glances were exchanged. Under the darkness the tiger walked in and closed the door behind her.

“Ah so then, if say that both armies were advancing on this location what could you two do in terms of getting them to stop?” Iren asked, her voice managing to find awkwardness in every word. The two turned towards her and the look of dread on their face was signal enough.

“Nothing, if both armies are advancing Twilight and Zonate have grabbed control of my Kagens and surely Agnate has on the other side, both are advancing when they see each other a full-blown war will be blasted out. And at that point, well I would run.” Octavius spoke as he stood up, he looked over to Ignatius and smiled.

“Well at least we tried for this, but it seems that faith will not allow us to find peace in this universe maybe in the next universe or even life.” Ignatius spoke and then the Riftwalker disappeared in a flash of fire, Octavius appeared to followed suit but not before he turned to Iren.

“Listen, I know you think you can fight but surely both sides are riled up and I understand your side, but this is not like what I did. Ten thousand Kagen men are advancing on this place, get your men and teleport out of here, I will try to make an opening but hell has no change in it truly happening.” Octavius spoke before bowing and disappearing in a flurry of blue particles around him.

“Well shit, I suppose is the only words I can say.” Iren spoke as she opened the door and walked out.

“What the hell is happening out there.” Ross ran up and grabbed her by the hand, Iren tried to pull her hand free but she was nearly dragged over to the window by the dragon. Ross opened it and looked out, a massive glow emerging from the northern forest as fire seemingly tumbled in the background.

“Barry didn’t lie, that is an advancing army of Riftwalkers and from the other direction are Kagens and right now we are in the middle of this shitstorm, so I consider this a sign of our success.” Iren snarkly spoke as she looked over to Ross who quickly buckled the top button on his jean jacket, and prepared for battle, his body turning metallic as he raised his hand.

“We might have to run, be prepared for anything in this case.” Iren spoke as the forest fire spread to the closet trees and she had reason to worry, the army of death approaching her. From the other end she saw a familiar face as Eclipse and behind him Zonate leading their army.

“What’s happening Finn, I can’t feel my hand.” Ross spoke as Finn stood still, sunlight gleaming on the floor as the dragon raised his hand. A cut on his scale, and a piece reflecting more light then normal.

“No, you monster, he’s just a mortal!” Finn argued as suddenly a pair of hands grabbed his feet and trapped him, the shark was glued to the floor. Isaac tried to pull himself and Finn free, save Billy and prevent nanobot control from winning his faith but the nanobots were powerful. Isaac pushed his hands down but even as an Earthquake erupted, the hands would not let go.

Billy backed up and his body started to shake, suddenly his scales started to turn metallic quickly running out his arm as metal formed shiny scales and turned tortoise blue. Billy pushed out his hand but it was too late, Joss snapped his hands and the dragon turned completely, a flash of light and Finn knew it was over.

“This is your fault.” Finn spoke as he looked over Isaac, the shark’s confidence was destroyed from his father and Finn needed to destroy his ego as well. Isaac looked up and saw Finn as he stood there, their feet being freed from the floor and nanobot Billy standing there, his body shining in the light.

Steel metal and blue energy lines running up his body, the dragon’s eyes shined as he seemingly booted up and faced the shark. Isaac held his hands up and prepared for a fight but something inside of him snapped, he felt weak and unable to fight. Finn was right.

“Well my father is an ass and I couldn’t face him but all I wanted was for him to say to me that he believed in me, that he was proud of me.” Isaac backed off as Billy faced him, a plated mask descending from his forehead and covering his face with a glowing visor. Billy opened his wings and flapped them taking to the air and floating for a few seconds.

“Welcome to the true nanobot club, I would consider you better than your better half but as you know I don’t consider Ross a real threat. I do consider these two threat, so strike them down and make sure they know what they have done to hurt us.” Joss commanded Billy stood there for a second, Finn and Isaac had failed, Billy had turned evil.

“You know out of everyone I think we all least expected him to turn evil so it’s the little victories that count in this case, but you know what I…” Finn spoke and turned towards Isaac, the shark seeing the entire world blotted out by the sun and only his world Finn’s face. And then Billy crashed into the shark, knocking him back into the wall.

“Consider yourselves destroyed enemies.” Billy spoke in a pure machinal voice as he held up his hand a sword formed, he placed it on Finn’s chest and prepared to puncture.
