I use the Download Helper add-on for Firefox to snag the video from YouTube, and then use Real Player Converter to extract the audio portion and save it as an mp3 file. :)

She lived in sedona AZ for awhile, which I got excited because I thought that meant I could go see the "vortexes ", but sadly she had to move. shes actually one of my mom's best friends.

I'm an ex-sailor, remember? :P I may not cuss much (in English, anyway) myself, but I'm not that easily offended. ;) I used to work with a guy from the former Yugoslavia by the name of Jug (it's pronounced "yoog") -- don't know how to spell his last name (it sounds like "stan-o-chich"). He was cool, spoke English kinda the same way (not so much cussing, but just the way he pronounced things...and he was one of the telephone tech support guys). :P

Anything I don't have already on a CD, I'll try to snag this way. I've got a horde of cassette tapes (over 400)...maybe one of these days I'll break down and get something that will let me to convert all of that music to mp3.

Yeah... I've got Zune right now because we're still contributing money to the music industry, but also getting an unlimited amount of music :). Considering Zune has conjoined with XBox and beocme "xbox music," when our Zunes stop working, we're just going to switch to spotify. I like being able to contribute to the music industry, but with the mainstream (as in like pop/hip-hop/dubstep/etc.) music sound now, it may just be obvious their lack of fundings :P. They must not even be able to afford literature class... I mean at least they understand the concept of repetition ;P... And just maybe if more people continue to contribute, they can take a crash course in poetry so that they will know how to write lyrics xP.

Hmm. I learned that I like desert conditions when I went to CA one summer. The temperature was supposed to be around 90 degrees or so, but it really just felt like it was in the 70's or mid 60's, which was great compared to VA's oh-so-horribly humid weather. Gotta love the summers here where the moisture in the air makes you feel nasty and grimy, while the bugs fly in your ears, eyes, and mouth. This past summer one actually flew into my ear and was buzzing every once in awhile, and I legitimately thought I was losing my mind :P. Realized it sounded like a bug and got rid of it xP. But man, talk about a scare.

I guess "dubstep" is a new one on me...seen it mentioned a few times, but I have no idea what it is. Heh, took me a bit to find out what "auto-tune" is (don't think I still rightly know, though).

Heh, but you're right, though, about the current crop of "song writers". Back in the '60's and early '70's, rock groups had well written songs, especially groups like Kansas, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Jim Croce, Billy Joel, ELO, and many more. Even Bob Dylan made more sense than some of the "music" I've heard these days. And what's with this eejit Bieber character? I think he's just another corporate creation. Throw the twerp out and put on some Black Oak Arkansas! :P

I've been in deserts, jungles, mountains, plains, and just about everywhere else imaginable. I don't do too well in heat, dry or humid. I'll take alpine conditions any day, though. ;)

xD Yeah, I was going to mention him but decided to let it be. It was funny, a comparison between him and a singer (that I got to meet xP) Ronnie Radke. Ronnie may have his flaws and etc, but at least he can write music. But anyways, someone had thrown a bottle at Justin Beiber (someone got it on tape), and he stopped singing and wined about it. Someone threw a bottle at Ronnie and he threw it right back without missing a beat xP. Just found that ridiculously funny. But I sort of lose interest of a band when they're vocabulary doesn't surpass first grade, nor can they make any meaning out of their song. I love analyzing songs... Especially My Chemical Romance's. I tried to analyze them for myself, but I have a friend who is a die-hard stalker-like fan who explained the actual meaning from Gerard about a couple of the songs, which I NEVER would have guessed... But I guess the point sometimes is to make the song vague enough to apply to anyone.

Random thought, the people on here tick me off so bad sometimes ><
On things that I know aren't God-awful or even pretty good that I put a lot of detail into, random people keep giving me like... 1 or 2 star votes, when feedback on other sites or with people/art teachers at school and comicons are very positive.

I wish they would tell me why they dislike my artwork so. I should just start leaving disclaimers that crappy votes should be accompanied with explanations x.x

Hmm. I think there's only been one thing that I've gotten a 1-star vote on and I don't know why or by whom. I know that some of the early stuff I've posted (before I really got back into the full swing of drawing again) isn't quite as good as some of my latest stuff. I've asked for comments on the first chapter of my book, and only a few people have ever said anything about it, even though I've had over 800 people look at it. I have no idea if people like it or not since very few people actually take a minute to write something. It's frustrating, I'm sure. Maybe that might be a good site suggestion -- have a feature that forces people to leave a reason why they give a particular vote.

I've seen some really crappy stuff that looks like it was drawn by a 5 year-old using a carpenter's pencil (or big crayons) on wide-rule notebook paper...and it gets literally [i]tons[/i] of 5-star votes, raves and faves (just because it's porn), yet some of the better art gets little recognition. One of the things that frustrates me so much over on Fur Affinity is the lack of anybody even [i]looking[/i] at what I post there. I've got only a couple of hundred page views on FA, and over 30K here. Some of the people's things that I leave comments on they seem surprised that anybody actually paid attention to their stuff. I'm starting to get better responses on here now, probably from a budding fan base, I suppose. :P I know that I need to leave some more comments on things, though I've been turning out a lot of drawings lately...guess I just need to take the time to stop and say something. :*)

Yeah. I was confronted when I first joined here that my art probably wouldn't get far on here because it used to be "Yiffstar," so you can imagine the demographic. And I've noticed that, also, it kinly ticks me off. I've even sorta teested the matter out by posting stripper-like furries (Don't get me wrong, I can be a total perve with my drawings and still have fun with it), and they got more attention, even though compared to now, they aren't near as detailed or anything. And those pics were more appreciated than my more..well... art art, haha. Like I can post a WIP and people give it horrible votes, but when I finish they like it? And I've had that issue on FA, too. I've thought about getting some more time-dedicated art together and running an ad on there. I did some investigating and even some of the people who aren't the best got commissions due to their ads. And I don't remember, I think I've gotten one-star votes mostly on WIPs and one random thing I didn't know why. And yeah :P Oh well. People will be people x.x

Heh, yeah, I know what you mean. I've got a thing posted now in the "Market" section for my book...not a single response so far. :( If I could afford to place an ad, I would. It would be ironic if I got lots of sales on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, but not on here (as soon as I can come up with the 2nd 1/2 payment, I can get my professionally made cover art and then I can publish my 1st book on those two sites). I even had a journal entry posted about doing commissions, but after a lot of views and not one single inquiry, I deleted it. Guess nobody wants "clean" art. O.o

I really don't understand why Sofurry and FA have such a problem with minors seeing suggestive images. Well, I understand from a normal standpoint, but from an artistic standpoint, I don't. DeviantART allows you to post and view explicit images any age (over 13 of course). If you really think about it, it's about the same concept of censoring the "David" because he's anatomically correct. It's still art.
