The Path to War is a hobby of mine and my oldest actual story (and, coincidentally, still in the planning stages). Basically, it's the tale of James Hania, a rebel prince from the fictional Land of Norath in the 1500s, and his struggles against the evil Noran Empire, which is helmed by his archenemy, Lord Asmodai. The Path to War Soundtrack is just a little hobby of mine, wherein I compose scores that would be used in a hypothetical movie adaption of the novel.
This is the character theme for Lord Asmodai, Emperor of the Land of Norath and - of course - the chief antagonist to Rebel Prince James Hania (the main protagonist). He's rather stereotypical, as I didn't see any need to make him otherwise: pure evil incarnate, cunning, power-hungry and absolutely ruthless. Not the kind of guy you wanna mess with, especially with his massive army.
Written & recorded with Sibelius 6.
