Only now did I find there were two pages before, but even THAT one (2 pages ago) jumped in both time and place abruptly.
I guess that was supposed to be a flashback but there was no warning. This story seemed disjointed as a result. I've done flashbacks myself but I did not want to lose the reader or the flow of the story, so I made the flashback begin in the middle of a page as a device. Marvel, DC, and even Last Gasp (although Rand Holmes as a solo artist/writer used a device between pages to warn the reader of a scene change) made their flashbacks the same way, Charlton and Archie Comics did the page change like you did. (MLJ was Archie Comics).
