I see you
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I couldn't sleep last night... and thought it would be cool to a close-up of Reptile's eye again.
Somehow, I have never been satisfied with his eyes... and we all know that the eyes are so very important for the expression of any character!
Personally, I love drawing eyes of any kind... and this time I've tried to draw Reptile's eyes as realistic as possible.
And everything is done with traditional media!
Enjoy!
;-)
Drawing media:
Pencils, ink, brush, COPICS, markers, coloured pencils, acrylics (no digital media!)
Working time:
4 hours!
Size of the paper:
15cm x 10cm
Artwork and character (c) Patrick Reichel aka
A larger version of this artwork can be found here:

NOTE:
I updated this picture and decreased the saturation of the inner iris and I also added a slightly visible sclera (left corner).

Thats so beautiful m8!
this colors and this detail...
FUCK EYYYY!
I love it so much :D
Thanks a lot... glad you like it. :3
SO, we are both right: It depends on the distance of the eye to the object!
^^
In this case, the eye is still rather relaxed... he looks at you without any intend.
This eye was inspired after I've seen "The Hobbit" and we see Smaug's eye... that was cool!
