Werewolf in Plain Sight
Sophia's first visible changes weren't hard to deal with. Her now golden eyes weren't too much of a shift from their previous hazel color and were only particularly noticeable to people who knew her well. The comparatively longer and narrower shape of her canines drew the occasional quizical look but little comment. It was the changes people couldn't see that proved the most challenging to the young woman as she struggled to fit into a world she no longer belonged in. For at least one more month, the alterations simply served to sharpen her physical features and she could hide in plain sight.
But for how much longer?
