It's great for painting, but it took me a while to figure out how to make it do just plain coloring. That would be easier to do in Photoshop, I'm sure, but I like the sort of inaccurate, sketchy, randomness of ArtRage. It feels very much like working with natural media.
Even though it's not really suited to the TLK style, which is a lot more precise, it's kinda fun trying to figure out how to bend it to my will ;)
