Track 07: “Tyros”[/b]
This is a song I can’t take all the credit for: about 50% of this track contain the main theme of “Game of Thrones” composed by Ramin Djawadi.
I really love the score of this show… and if you haven’t seen or heard it, you better find it! It’s really great fantasy – music and live action. ^^
Since a composer can learn a great deal by covering music, I took the liberty to compose my new main theme for the city of “Tyros” – containing the popular main theme not written by me. It’s been fun to emulate this theme and add some of my own styles.
The most important goal was to create a song, which has a strong “walking stomping marching” rhythm. The upper staccato strings and strong brass sections provide the main rhythm – accompanied by a typical snare drum. Harp and a female choir is used to balance the track and add some peace in the end. King Kyle’s theme is being played by the harp eventually.

They focus mainly on epic standard of background music that could fit a really epic fighting scene, war or just generally make you all puped up for what ever action one might think one could throw oneself into. :3
But I prefer less swashbuckle style and more classical stuff.
