They are small forest-dwelling creatures. They've large ears to hear even the smallest sounds in the forests, and large eyes to see in dim lit areas. They are not normally nocturnal creatures, but some rarer varieties prefer the night. These creatures are only about 3-4 inches tall, though a few have grown up to 6 inches at the shoulder. Some collectors have been known to capture them to keep as beautiful, fair tempered pets. They can be very cuddly and loyal friends and pets, having a mild, calm temperment. Only the left ear is pierced, and the beads that hang from the ear usually match the colouring of the flutterfluff's wings. They do not wear clothing, but sometimes will collect small jewels, flowers, coloured pencil shavings, or anything they consider to be precious or interesting.
