Lunch. Chani will still be there later, and isn't in danger of burning. Only so much lunch was brought, and that IS in danger of burning.

Setting the entire place on fire literally or at least filling it with smoke is not going to help the mood.

He's got it on low, it ain't gunna burn :)

Spoil sport! Can you imagine what would happen if Desmond and Chani were getting quite intimate when they both started to smell smoke? VEG

Oh, well, I guess i will just have to live with great, loving sex between them. :-)

In his defence, if I had been bitten by an eel in the past, and I had the slightest suspicion that an eel was about to bite my donger, I would GTFO of that water pronto, too. :B

Also, I'm not sure which detail I like more, Desmond poking her tail with his whiskers, as if to confirm that it's not an eel, or Chani licking it in the last panel to be an even bigger tease. n_n

I dunno, I'm pretty fond of Chani's seedy at the bottom face =P

Aha, so now we know how Desmond received his whisker injury as a young drake. Good to know, though one would think Desmond would realize that eels and hot springs don't mix... But some sense memories are burned deeply into one's psyche! ;)

There were eels in the bigger pool featured in the teaser (it's further into the cave, you can still see a bit of the tree in the teaser image too).

Yeah, amazing the things that can affect us as adults from our childhood.
