Some of you may have seen this as my Discord profile picture last weekend as a little sneak peak....

[i]So far, [b]this[/b] has been Valcyrie. The sorceress, the scholar.
But the world has changed.
We live in an increasingly dystopian society where big corporations make the rules and we are but cogs in their machinery.
Coal to be shuffled into their profit pans, turned to dust and returned to the earth.
2020 brought the world to an edge in many regards.[/i][/center]
Now, thanks to discoveries like [b]these[/b] where scientists have managed to put an artificial image inside a mouse's brain so that it behaves as if it actually sees it; cybernetic implants are not far away. In fact, they are already a reality. Thanks to brain-implanted chips, people with damaged nerves can now control exoskeletons that are also able to feel and transfer those feelings back to the brain via electronic nerves. Nuclear energy research is going to extremely efficient fission reactors which can burn all the fuel that is now in end storage, others create plasma through fusion.

So here we see Space Cadet Valcyrie, a concept I've had for a few years but never got art of. But with the amazing progresses of 2021 as well as my own personal struggles made this concept feel more real than it ever has. Here we see me, with cybernetic implants, assault rifle in hand, one of those beautiful blue eyes replaced by a robotic one. I am no longer who I used to be. I am someone new. A Valdroid, heh~
May 2021 almost feels like the start of a new year for me for many reasons, and with it comes a new attitude, persona and style. Time for warm summer nights in neon lights and Synthwave music. And I love it <3
