Unit Emblems - Grissom Air Museum 09-20-2014
Title can't be empty.

When I look at the various unit emblems over the years, I have to wonder how many closet furries there were in the military.
BTW, during most of the time that I spent in Kokomo from 1978-1984, the 305th AREFW was in residence. We regularly had KC-135 tankers coming over the house. The Indiana Air National Guard was flying first A-37 Dragonly and then A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft out of Grissom AFB.

A LOT of furs are Mil-Furs (it's one of the largest groups on FA, matter of fact) ;-)
Yes, there are plenty of Military Furs today as well. However, can you imagine someone in WW II admitting to being what we consider a fur now? Plenty of people enjoyed Bugs Bunny, but how many would admit to wanting to be him? That probably would have been right up there with admitting that you were gay.
Actually, I am surprised that Klinger from M*A*S*H did not try pretending he was an anthropomorphic rabbit...
I can see your point. There's different levels of furs though. I don't want to be a penguin and I think fursuiters should be in a backwards-locking-sweater, but I'm still a furry! XD
